I have bought two in a 6mo. span, both Brooke way too quickly! the first one just stopped working while making my 2nd cup of coffee with it. second one worked okay for about two months, then it stopped working again. both of them I tried replacing with brand new batteries, even though they both had brand new originally. I also find the slide button very difficult to use, it holds my thumb at such an awkward angle, it makes it hard to keep a good grip on it. plus it's fairly difficult to push in the first place. lastly, even with the new batteries, the actual frothing power sucks. it's the weakest one I've ever had! my favorite one will always be the one I bought from dollar spot at target, but she is no longer with us 😭 tbh my blender bottle was quicker and easier, whether mixing coffee drinks, or just frothing.

Do not buy!
This frother is awful. It is weak and cuts off in the middle of frothing. The instructions are not helpful either, it required a lot of guesswork. Avoid!

Waste of money
I’ve been forcing myself to use this thing for over a year because I don’t like to waste things that still work but I’m giving up. This thing is so weak that barely bumping it on the side of the container will get it to completely stop. It doesn’t achieve more than a gentle stir. And yes I’ve tried changing the battery, doesn’t help. Buy something else.

Ensure that the required AA batteries are correctly inserted according to the graphic instructions found on the inside of the battery compartment, and that they are secured in place by aligning the curve of the battery cap with the curve of the device’s base and pressing firmly until the tabs snap into place. To operate the SCHIUMA, gently press the power switch to the side, away from the curved edge of the device’s base; note that the frother will not turn on if you apply pressure directly downward.
