Q: How long are the wet mops compared to the mop it goes on. I want to make sure the wet ones fit entirely over the head.

A: If you're ordering Swiffer Wet Refills for a Swiffer Sweeper head, I think you can count on them fitting the entire head. I buy store brand (but not Target's) or any off brand, and they've all fit entirely over my Swiffer Sweeper head. I figure, why pay more if you don't have to?

Q: Are these pads OK to use on wood floors? What's the difference between these and the "Wood Mopping Cloths"?

A: All of our Wet cloths are safe for use on finished hardwood and bamboo floors, though our Wood Wet cloths are specially designed for wood floors. They feature slightly less solution per cloth to reduce the amount of solution left on the floor, and don't have a scrubby strip in order to ensure a gentle clean.

These Swiffer Wet Mopping Cloths are a regular part of our cleaning routine. With the amount of foot traffic our home sees — including spills, snack crumbs, and dirt from teens and dogs alike — these cloths help us stay ahead of grime without bringing out a full mop and bucket every day. The fresh scent is pleasant and not too strong, leaving the floors smelling clean without being overwhelming. The cloths are generously moist and slide smoothly across our tile and laminate floors, picking up everything from sticky juice spots to dust tracked in from the yard. They attach easily to our Swiffer XL and don't bunch up, even with heavier use. That said, these are best for surface-level maintenance rather than deep scrubbing. For heavy messes, you’ll want to mop properly. But for a quick refresh between chores or to spot clean after dinner, they’re perfect. With 24 in a pack, this lasts us a couple of weeks when used a few times per week. Definitely worth keeping stocked for a large family that doesn’t want to be mopping constantly.

The pads are soaked in liquid which made them drip and when attaching. So much liquid squeezes out at first that I felt like I should be mopping up the excess. There is no way to control this. After the floor dries it feels smooth but becomes sticky when wet. It's messy.

Pads are just a bit too short. Difficult to securely attach. Certainly another 1/4 to 1/2 inch of material won’t adversely affect company profitability.

I don’t get why they won’t make an unscented option. The fresh scent is so overwhelming I’d rather not mop. All windows are open for hours and it still seems like someone sprayed air fresher directly in my face. It’s bad for our health and unnecessary.

They actually do clean my floor really well and leave a nice, not-overpowering scent in their wake. They last through more than a few messes before needing to be changed, and are a lifesaver especially in the kitchen. I would definitely purchase again!

It dries fast too, which is appreciated. The wipes are strong, so no worries it will fall apart in the middle of mopping. You can’t go wrong on your daily tasks with Swiffer brand.

I took a star off just because the packaging should be better. The plastic lid covering it is very flimsy, and it seems they knew this was a leak risk since it was mailed to me in a plastic bag within the box. Other than that it’s great!
