    No irritation

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lovely product as good as a facial balm that is twice the price. I have dry sensitive skin and it has caused no irritation on my skin and eyes. Removes make up well. Will definitely buy again

    Amazing Product

    This cleansing balm has a velvety soft feel with a lght and airy aroma to it. I recieved a trial size as part of a gift and it works amazingly well.It rinses free and clear with little to no residue. I follow up with an astringent and vitamin c serum.

    Word of warning

    It took me some trial and error to figure out this product because most cleansing balms are meant to be used on dry skin, but this one doesn’t emulsify at all unless your skin and hands are both wet. And then when I tried to use it to remove my eye makeup, my eyes burned like crazy. It does take my face makeup off fine when I get my skin wet and avoid my eyes but I have to end up using something else for my eye makeup, so it’s just really not worth it in my opinion.

    Finally- a gorgeous cleanser with vitamin C.

    It is a balm- it does not lather (no need to waste water!) I do like that because it doesn't strip moisture from your skin even in harsh winter. My face feels cleansed and refreshed after using it. This product is gentle. I've also noticed my skin tone has gotten better over 3 months or so. It's a little tough to get mascara out but not impossible. And it smells so citrusy!

    DO NOT BUY

    The worst cleansing balm I’ve ever used. I’ve only started using this consistently and didn’t realize until now that it doesn’t remove my EltaMD UV Physical Broad Spectrum SPF 41 at all. I can literally scrape off the sunscreen with my fingernails after rinsing off the cleansing balm. I was already extremely disappointed when I found out it can’t remove waterproof mascara. It is misleading to label it a cleaning balm when it doesn’t remove anything. I’ve tried cleaning balms from Farmacy, Banila, Ponds, Clinique, and Elemis and they perform much better and do everything they claim. This cleanser is a joke.

    Game changer.

    This product saved my dry, acne-prone skin. I use it on my face everyday with Cerave Acne Foaming Face Wash Cream Cleanser and elf Holy Hydration Face Cream/light moisturizer. For anyone curious, I also use a sulfur cleanser once a week (Plexion). Lumene's cleansing balm removes most, if not all, of my medium-coverage makeup. I don't like using it on my eyes because it messes with my contact lenses, but I still love it. I've used this product for 2+ months now and my skin feels soft and clear.

    Perfect

    I bought it year ago and I came here to buy one more my target doesn’t ship it and also doesn’t have in stores. How can I buy it? Its best cleaning face product. You skin will be smooth and clean. Just make a little wet your hands and try to wash your pores areas only with this balm, you will be surprised how it worked. Even noone mask could clean my skin like this.

    Does not cleanse. At all.

    I got a sample of this product and it did absolutely nothing. It smells great and the packaging is beautiful, but the product is worthless - it didn't remove any makeup or oils from my face. My face was actually dirtier after I used it than before, if that's even possible!

    Perfect for a double cleansing routine

    This is the only cleansing balm I will use. It took me quite a few products to get here. It’s not greasy at all, but it removes makeup very well. It is the first step of my double wash routine. I follow it with a gentle gel cleanser. I can’t use it alone, I do need to follow it up with something. But also I can’t use a gel cleanser alone because it doesn’t remove makeup. So this product is the perfect first step of double cleansing.

    I love Lumene but not this product!

    This cleansing balm was on sale so i decided to try it. I just want to say I NEVER break out with pimples but I did after using this product in the shower to wash my face.... not at all what I expected, I’m pretty disappointed actually. I love most of their other products but this one is a definite NO!

    Ouch my eyes

    Wow. My eyes are in serious pain. I bought because the description says you can use on eyes. Umm I would not recommend that. Then I read the bottle “do not use on the eye area”.

    I have oily skin and this is a thick balm so I was worried I wouldn’t like it. I put it directly on my dry skin to take off makeup and then get my hands wet and lather it on. Feels amazing and doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry or like I over washed it. 10/10 recommend
