CETAPHIL Sheer Mineral Face Liquid Sunscreen is an ultra lightweight, 100% Mineral UVA/UVB filter sunscreen designed for daily use on the face. Broad spectrum SPF 50 reflects both UVA and UVB rays to help prevent sunburn and decrease the risk of skin cancer and early signs of aging due to sun exposure. The sheer formula was developed with sheer zinc to provide maximum broad spectrum protection in a serum-like formula that applies easily to skin. It leaves a dry, matte finish ideal for application under makeup. The non-greasy formula will not clog pores and is dermatologist and ophthalmologist tested to be safe for use on the face. Formulated with soothing vitamin E to comfort the skin, this sheer sunscreen locks in lasting hydration to help prevent against the drying effects of the sun. A: The container says reapply after 80 minutes of swimming...so yeah it IS water resistant.

I have pretty touchy sensitive skin, and this sunscreen has calmed everything down so much compared to what I was using before. For that I have to give it 5 stars, and I'll definitely repurchase. The only issue is it leaves a slight white cast. This product would truly be a "hg" if it came in 3 or 5 lightly tinted shades. Please try it, Cetaphil!

Applies fairly well, but does require some rubbing to eliminate the white cast. I'm pretty pale, and did notice a white cast. But the real problem is that after a half hour or so, it settled into any creases or lines on my face and neck, collecting as white lines. *Maybe* okay for using at the beach, but not for everyday wear.

This stuff is great for oily skin! Keeps me matte all day. Nice and thin consistency so it is idea for days when you need to reapply every couple hours. I wore this while at Disneyland and did not burn at all. It’s my go to for daily protection as well as long days in the sun.

I bought this product 2 days ago and a. Very disappointed. The product claims " to blend in easily without leaving a greasy residue ". This is not my experience at all. The sunscreen is grainy in texture ( something I have not encountered in any other sunscreen before and found to ve very unpleasant). Once the lotion is absorbed it leaves a very sticky residue on the surface of the skin. Altogether a very disappointing product which I would not recommend. Horrible formula! I bought the 3 oz to take on a trip in my carryon. What a mistake! Had to throw it away and spend $$ on new sunscreen at the beach. This was a thick white paste which made our skin look chalky. I kept rubbing it in, but it stayed chalky on my skin. And it stained my black bathing suit. It was hard to wash off my skin also. Needed to soap up a lot to remove it

I only wear this when I’m going to the beach because there definitely is a bit of a white cast, but it’s great for my dry sensitive skin! Doesn’t break me out and feels moisturizing, and I haven’t gotten burned with it.

I like this sunscreen for my chest area when I wear white, as it does not cause yellowing on my clothes the way organic/chemical sunscreens do. My skin is very light though, so keep that in mind. However wearing a foundation on top can work wonderfully for some lighter/medium skin tones.
