Very smooth to the touch, and the main thing is I love that black dermatologist tested it to make sure it worked for women that look like me. Highly recommend. LOVE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Shea moisture coconut oil bar soap is extremely hydrating, and it smells really nice hints of coconut and very floral. I would prefer if it was liquid soap instead of a bar, but that’s my personal preference.

I love how it moisturizes my skin and it lasts a long time.

It leaves my skin so soft and smooth. Ive also use it when I shower, leaving my skin so soft and moisturizing. You should try it. Ir won't disappoint.

Why would you change a perfectly wonderful bar soap? The new coconut bar soap smells weird, and it is definitely not moisturizing. It doesn’t even have the exfoliating bits of coconut shell in it. I am so disappointed! I’ve used this soap daily for over a decade, and I’ll have to find something else now. Please bring back the old “recipe”!

This is a no go. I canceled my reoccurring orders. There is no longer the light smell of coconut but a strong artificial scent.

This bar of soap is very pleasant smelling and it lathers nicely. It also does not dry the skin. It is large so I cut it in half making it more manageable to handle in the shower!

I’ve been using this bar for a long time now after finding out I was allergic to CAPB. I spent months after I first found out trying to find anything without it in all my bath and beauty products. Was even more excited when I finally found an actual natural ingredient product but that it also had extremely nice exfoliating properties as well. It was doing wonders for my skin. BUT NOW…this “new formula” (still have 1 old bar left that I compared ingredients to and they are NOT the same) is absolutely horrible. It leaves my skin feeling super dry and definitely NOT moisturized; Then with their bonus feature of the added fragrance (a known irritant for eczema and which it didn’t need, bc it smelled just fine before), as well as the removal of tiny scrubbies, does it not at all anymore help with my eczema like before, but actually irritates it further now. Also, the only reason this “New Formula” has SO many good reviews is bc they are nearly all by “Influencers” looking to also make a buck (who are no different than the terrible Corp. that took over this Company) and NOT those of us real ppl who have real skin issues, have actually have used this soap for years upon years, 100% know the difference, and who are definitely NOT happy with the change! Will NEVER buy another bar unless they decide to revert back to one with less irritants. Regardless that it says 100% Virgin Coconut Oil, that’s not ALL it has in it. And definitely NOT worth the money they’re selling it for. Didn’t mind paying the money b4, but definitely will not be wasting it on this Crap. Here goes more months of searching for a new soap that doesn’t negatively affect my skin, thanks for that. 👍🏼🙄😡

I have used this soap for years! I love it so much! I opened up my soap yesterday and noticed not only did it come in different packaging. It wasn't the same soap. It had a different texture and the smell wasn't natural smelling anymore. It smelled like it had added fragrance. I was so disappointed. Please bring back the soap we have grown to love! This one is horrible!

I used to love it and used it only on my face and never broke me out! I ordered last week and the scent is so strong it’s ridiculous. Im pretty sure they changed the formula, I don’t even want to use it on my face anymore so I’m returning it. The scent is so strong it’s like I had a scented candle in my room the whole room smells like the soap. I didn’t bother opening it because the scent is so strong I just left it as is but it’s going back to the store for sure. I don’t understand why they changed it. It was perfect the way it was.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed this product! The bar of soap is really big. I feel like it’s about the size of my hands and maybe three decks of cards high. The bar so last very long, I’ve used it for about two months now consistently and there is still a good amount left. What I like most about this product is that the fragrance is amazing and long lasting, and when I get out of the shower, I’m not super ashy and already somewhat moisturized and not super dried out. So it gets me clean, but doesn’t leave me ashy.

It’s not that I don’t like the item. I was given the natural shea butter soap when I ordered the coconut soap .. I live too far to bring it back.
