Description

Lysol Laundry Sanitizer Sport is the ultimate odor eliminator. Specifically designed to break down body/sweat malodors on clothing at the molecular level. These malodor molecules are caused by bacteria which thrive on synthetic fabrics and grow from body oil and sweat found on human skin. The molecules are often trapped within synthetic fabrics such as those found in activewear.   • A: In order to ensure effectiveness, Lysol Laundry Sanitizer must be used in your washing machine during the rinse cycle and as directed on the product label. You don't have to wait for the rinse cycle, because the product can be added via the fabric softener dispenser which dispenses during the rinse cycle. Lysol Laundry Sanitizer should not be added during the wash cycle because the amount of water released during the wash cycle would dilute the sanitizer to a point where it’s no longer effective.

Arrives damaged/leaking multiple times

This item has arrived damaged multiple times. Previously, I was able to get replacements and refunds for the damaged/leaking items WITHOUT having to send back the damaged items. This most recent order, however, a Target associate named Tyla told me I MUST send back the damaged item in order to get a replacement. I was trying to explain my previous experiences with this exact same predicament to her but she abruptly ended our chat before I could explain. I even offered to send her 5 pictures but she only accepted 2 of them. She was very unprofessional and rude to just end the chat like that. 😔 This was a very disappointing exchange and it will definitely impact whether or not I continue to order from Target.

This has a safety data sheet you can download and read. It shouldn't be inhaled, and can cause chemical burns if it gets in your eyes or on your skin.

Contains a lot of fragrance

I wouldn’t recommend this item as I believe the marketing is deceptive. The product is made to seem as though odor is removed by killing 99% of germs, but if you look at the ingredients, this product is full of fragrance which contains who knows what. I believe this is the reason the product freshens up clothes. I’ll probably end up throwing this out as fragrance is an ingredient one should avoid as much as possible.

Waste of money.

The smell of this is horrid. It is a very strong smell and I can still smell the original odors underneath, which makes it soooo much worse. It's like pouring a bottle of fragrance onto an odor. There is no reason for me to believe this kills any germs at all considering the smell that still remains on the fabric.

I would say this has helped eliminate odors from my stinky running clothes. Read the directions before use! Unfortunately I hate the scent of this product.
