Directions: Before Braids and Twists – part clean hair into
sections using a fine tooth comb. Apply product with fingertip
through each section. Go over each section with the comb to
achieve cleaner parts. Using the teeth of the comb, apply an
ample amount of product to the section you are about to
style. For Edges or Ponytails – apply to hair and brush into
desired style.

Just saw an advertisement for this product and decided to read the reviews which are very mixed. Not understanding why so many are complaining about finger prints in newly opened containers, that is kinda disturbing and what about the price? $20 for a jar of gel? I love Brat and Judy but these products are just a bit much just for their names being on them. Sorry guys I pass.

This is the ONLY product that works when I am retwisting both of my sons' dredlocks. Their hair loves it and I wouldn't use anything else. As a matter of fact my son needed his hair done desperately and the stores were out - I waited an additional week for it to come by mail before doing his hair.

It’s more of a pomade than a gel. I love the product itself - it works really well on my hair and doesn’t make my hair stiff or flaky. The major issue I have with this product that I hope they change is the heavy fragrance - it’s way too strong. If they dial that back 80%, I’ll be a customer forever.

If I could give it 0 stars I would have. If you are doing a braided protective style this is absolutely not the product to use. The hold is virtually non existent after a couple of days. I braided my hair using this and after 2 weeks my braids have slipped down my hair and look like they are 8-10 weeks old. There are much better and more affordable options. This may be a good product to slick down your natural hair for like a ponytail but I would not recommend for braids or locs.

The PEG-40 is very high on the list. Whether one believes it is safe or not the process to make this hydrolyzed castor oil and the fact that this variation of this surfactant is listed again-I’m not impressed by the ingredients even if it has my hair shiny and gives me clean parts. No thank you. Please use clean products

I absolutely love this product! I was looking for something clear for my edges that don’t leave the white cast and this is great! You have to rub it in and be sure to comb it through but for me, it’s better than any edge control I’ve had and works well with my twist outs. This is the only product I use now for my edges.
