submitted byCuisinart - 2 years agoBrand expertA: WRONG! Just got microwave and tried what was suggested above and it'll automatically start heating for 4 minutes if you do it this way. I'm still figuring it out, manual is incorrect too.

Q: The glass turntable does not fit into the rotating arms correctly-it looks like the wrong model. How can I fix this?

Q: I held down the red button for three seconds it said LOC so I pushed seven and nine in consecutive order for it to say unlock and that doesn’t work as was advised in the Q&A session please inform me this is really getting ridiculous
A: Okay I figured it out theres a unlock button second row from the top center in the function buttons. Its in red so its kinda hard to see at least mine is. When it says LOC press the unlock button.

Q: Is this microwave loud? thank you
A: Can't verify Cuisinart report of 59 db w/out proper sound level meter. This model EM0P042DG is quieter than other models at 1000W and also has easy Beep mute which might be it's best feature.

Q: What is the length of power cord and which side does it come from
A: 3ft and on the back left if looking at back of the microwave. If you are looking at the microwave from the front, it is on right back side at top. Cord was too short for me to use
