New formula review. Very disappointed.
I usually love this product. It was my go to product to do a wash and go. My hair type is 3c 4a. I would add a small amt to a bottle of water or aloe vera juice and use it as my curl refresher and it did the job. Now this is a new formula and looks like a curdled custard. I tried it in my hair and it had a white hue in my hair and did not curl my hair at all. The former formula used go into my hair like butter and I could see the curl definition in my hair. Why was the formula changed Talijah Waajid?? Now I have to find a new product to use.😭😭

Smells like rancid yogurt
This stuff stinks. The smell is rancid and offensive. It doesn't smell fresh or clean and makes the hair smell dirty. It works good, but I can not get past the smell. The scent is strong and not very pleasant. Will NEVER repurchase or use.

Great for me and my son
Ive been using this product for some years now. When my son decided to grow his hair out this was the first product I tried on his hair. It responds so well to it. His hair is moisturized and his curls are defined just the way he likes to style it. I’ve tried other products but none work as well as this so I keep coming back to it and its a family staple now.

4B/4C blend curls be popping
I have to say I was a little worried about using the product but I’m like that with all new products. I was surprised the first time I used it on my blown out hair. It did not cause a lot of shrinkage and and my curls did pop. The flaking I noticed on my edges was due to the gel I had previously used. I used the product again and my curls are still popping and no flakes. Both times I used doing two strand twist for a twist out.

I really love this curl definer, it’s pretty similar in effect for me (very defined curls) as the curly cream but I love the apple aloe smell! I also get at least a day hold of my wash and go’s. I def will be purchasing again!

Best Curl Cream for 2c/3a curls
My hair is a mix of 2c and 3a curls, so it can get weighed down easily on top. This product makes my hair bounce. It brought life back into my curls. I'm able to use a decent bit to style it without it weighing down my 2c curls. I've used it on both wet and dry hair. It doesn't get greasy or brittle when it dries. This is now my go to curl cream.
