Q: Does the outside sweat when using ice?

  • A: Hi, Yes, it's normal for the outside of the ice bag to sweat or get damp with condensation. This is just the cold from the ice inside meeting the warmer, moist air in the room. It doesn't mean it's leaking. A good tip is to wrap the bag in a thin towel or cloth before applying it. This will keep you dry and can also make the cold more comfortable against your skin.
