Krups 8oz Burr Coffee Grinder , 12 Settings, Stainless Steel

So far so good. Our old Krups grinder lasted at least 12 years. Hopefully this one is also long lasting.

I’ve had my grinder for about 5 years and the time has come to replace the blades. They’re clearly dull and I can no longer grind fine coffee. I’m shocked to find that they’re even though it’s they are clearly easy to replace with a screwdriver. They are not available whatsoever anywhere online. I’m super disappointed in Krups and will never use ANY of their products again. I’ll just get a cheap grinder and replace it every five years instead -thanks for nothing.

died after 18 months. Ground-coffee containers full of static, coffee grounds all over untit and counter. very very loud. But would have been okay with it all if it had not died so soon after purchase.

The grinder works well, but it makes a huge mess when the cup is removed from the unit and when the static that is created because of the plastic material that the cup is made of is release, coffee grounds fly everywhere. It takes longer to clean up the mess than the time it takes to brew a pot of coffee. It's all over the counter and the floor.

I expected the Krups Brand Name would provide me with a great product. However, every single time I use this Grinder, I have to clean my counter of coffee grounds that have shot out of this Krups Burr Grinder - Not one of my better buys of trusting a brand name.

impossible to get a fine grind even with the adjustment completely pushed to fine. stays somewhat coarse. disappointing.

The unit worked for about a half-year after purchase. I found the grind quality acceptable but the design is such that grinds seep from the back of the fill cup when operated, and there's no clean way to transfer the ground coffee from the filled cup into a coffee basket. Sadly the unit stopped allowing me to select a grind fineness after 6 months of use. When I removed and reseated the top burr during cleaning, the unit stopped working completely.

I have owned this grinder for 3 years and it is great . It has ground coffee for pour over, french press and cold brew. It has always met my expectation and produced the right grind. I have lost the seal between the grinder and the basket the ground coffee is deposited and have been unable to find a replacement.

I really liked this grinder for a short time but it is unbelievably messy which has made it very frustrating to use. Grounds ends up everywhere during the grind process as well as when you try to transfer it to your coffee maker.

I got this as a gift. And while I love that I am able to grind coffee beans, I'm disappointed that it all comes out course no matter where the dial is set. It also doesn't seem to matter what number of cups I set it to, as it grinds all the beans I put in the hopper. I expected it to stop once it reached 4 cups worth, but it grinds the entire hoppers worth, whether 1/4 cup or filled to the top. That part isn't a big deal, I have an airtight canister for the ground coffee, but the inability to get a fine ground of coffee is the biggest disappointment.

Have used this grinder for about 9 mos. Every other time I load fresh beans (filled to 3/4" below lid) I end up spending 5-10 mins fixing a stray ground that ends up blocking the kill switch deactivated by the lid closing. REALLY irritating. Bad design. The ground coffee flung behind the receptacle is annoying but I can live with that. A rinder that won't run is unacceptable.. Needs simpler design. Maybe an exterior latch that needs to be engaged before running. A switch INSIDE the bean container is just stupid. Its bound to be trouble.

I have had this product for , I think, over five years. I did replace the upper grinder over a year ago, but not sure I needed to. I have not had any issues with dust or exorbitant build up of grounds blocking the outlet. The grinder settings do seem to work but I settled on a drip grind setting that works well for us. My major complaint is NOISE. This baby is like a being next to a jet engine warming up! My son loaned me his Cuisinart grinder to compare . Much quieter but a dust producer big time.

I have always wanted a burr grinder, and the value of this one is excellent. I have ground fine espresso as well as courser drip grinds and it does a fine job at both. I have to mention the static electricity other reviewers are talking about. It is so not a big deal. I tap the chamber with my fingers as the grounds are coming in, and they settle down into the chamber. The grounds that stick to the sides when I remover the chamber also can be tapped down into the chamber by tapping it on the edge of the sink, and then dumped out for use. The chamber is easily cleaned by wiping with a damp paper towel rather than rinsing (again, resulting in loose grounds you can easily dump out and use). So I don't see all the "waste" people are talking about. Finally - after decades of having to stand there holding down a button on a coffee grinder, it's actually fun now to just stand back and watch my burr grinder do the work. Easy to clean. Fun to use. Works great. Good value. I love it!

I purchased this grinder twice and both times the pins that attach the top lid to the grinder fall out and then the unit fails. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. Not going to buy this again. I even wrote a review and received an email asking me to call customer service. Waste of time, since they weren't able to help since outside the warranty period and couldn't provide the pins that probably cost pennies. Done with this grinder.

I've gone through 2 of these grinders and the pins don't stay in on the lid and eventually cause the grinder to fail.

I’ve been using this grinder for about 8 months now, and it has been a great addition to my home coffee station.

I was gifted this grinder at Christmas and it was a disappointment. Not only is it a static mess, like other reviewers say, I can make a better grind from my blade grinder. The most disappointing part is that whenever I grind on ANY setting, it comes out with big rocks on the top and espresso powder on the bottom. It's sad and I'm very upset with the quality of this machine.

I had high hopes for this coffee grinder once my burr grinder stopped working. However, it is the messiest coffee grinder that I have ever owned. The grinds get embedded in the area that pushes the ground be a into the collection cup and when you pull out the collection cup grinds go everywhere. We have to use a tooth pick to scrape out all of the grinds a few times per week. When we do that the grinds then embed themselves into the corners of the bottom plate and you have to use a toothpick to clean that or else the cup will not push back in all of the way. We end up with coffee grinds all over the counter and our hands. I would NOT recommend this product.

I have had my grinder for 3 months now and I LOVE it. I use it for making regular ground coffee, not expresso. It is not good for expresso. It is incredibly easy to use and the cup where the ground coffee goes into is large enough that when I place the ground coffee into the coffee puck over the cup of ground coffee, I don’t make a mess on my counter. I am extremely happy with my choice.
