Lid doesn’t seat well
First time using the cooker and I am not thrilled that the lid does not seat fully on the pot. Hoping my roast will cook fully and not spatter all over the counter.

Good slow cooker with one thing that could be improved on
The locking gasketed lid is nice, especially if you need to travel with it. The fully adjustable time (30 minute increments) is a good feature, instead of just a couple of presets. The one minor thing that could be improved is the display. With the cooker sitting on the counter, when you look at the display from a standing position, you can't discern the actual time left (first picture). You have to bend down to be directly inline with the display. It would be nice if the display was on an upward angle of about 30 degrees so you can see it from a normal stance (or they could have used an LED display instead of LCD to eliminate this). Kind of odd that a design choice like that slipped through.

Hamilton slowcooker
Box arrived looking dinged up, but outside of crock pot was not damaged. When I took inner ceramic bowl out, I saw that the coating was warped and must’ve been made that way at the factory. I returned to Target but couldn’t find a replacement in the same range. All the other cookers were $30 more than when I first ordered this.

Decent crock pot
Had to replace my crock pot after my black dish cracked. Since it’s more expensive to just replace that, than buy a new one. It a good product but you can tell it’s cheaper quality than my previous one. The latches are very cheaply made. But it does get the job done. I am sure this one probably won’t last as long as my previous one did.

Potential Fire Hazard
The insert shifts in the base, allowing liquids to spill into the base and burn there. I contacted HB, they sent me another, with the exact same issue. They claim it's not a defect and that the insert is supposed to move in the base. Liquid in a metal base that's plugged in seems like a fire hazard to me. I will be throwing both in the trash.

I love cooking for my family and this is going to be my go to from now on. This makes cooking safe and not so stressful when I’m super busy. I haves cooked chicken to roast beef and all cooked so well. After it’s done cooking it goes to warm which is awesome, even my 13 year old daughter got to use it and loved it. Showing her how to cook is important to me. It was easy to clean up and wash. No messes with liners so I love it. The lid secures on well and also easy to clean. I recommend this to everyone who loves to cook and it’s a time saver. Fits perfect in my small home!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first slow cooker I have owned, and I'm very happy with it. I avoided getting one in the past, because I wasn't sure how much I'd use it, but having it now, I am confident I will use it often because it is so easy to use. Temperature settings and cook time settings are both easy to set (with a nice blue light on the digital screen), and the pot cooks the food very evenly. The first thing I used it for was an eight serving mac and cheese recipe, and there was still a lot of room in the pot to make a larger recipe if needed. The lid on the pot secures tightly, but easily, and it washes out with minimal effort. Great investment!

The Timer!!!!

This is just what we needed! The "stay or go" feature is an added bonus. It will make bringing food to parties and holidays so much easier. I also like that this one is black, it matches our other appliances so much better than our old white one.

I made chicken noodle soup the first time, and it cooked the chicken perfectly. The second time, I cooked a roast for 9 hours and it was very tender and juicy. Easy to cook with and lightweight!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product 4 days ago and have used it twice already! It’s bigger than my old crockpot but somehow lighter. It makes cleaning it in the sink much easier as I’m less afraid to drop and break it. I enjoy the classic settings of warm, low, and high. I made broth and was able to set it on low for 20 hours and forget about it. The outside does not get as hot as my older one either. I’m happy to replace my old crockpot with this lovely product. I was unfortunately not able to test the lid lock feature while traveling but it seems like a very tight seal and nothing spilled when I tipped it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this crock pot almost two weeks ago. I was very excited and the Stay or Go did not disappoint! The programmable feature is easy to use and very convenient. My favorite features are the way it automatically changes over to the keep it warm temp after it finishes the cook time AND the lid that clamps tight to seal in your food during transport. The 6 qt capacity is perfect for cooking sizable roasts and, my favorite, chicken. It is a great addition to my kitchen. I can't wait to try other recipes in it!
