after a 10-12hr shift, my eye makeup still looks like I just applied it. this stuff is amazing. I have naturally oily eyelids. other products cant fight the oil so I end up with raccoon eyes. this primer holds up. im so glad I found it. I've been using it for 2 years.

it works alright, but the scent is so strong. I can smell it on & off all day. using it more than once a week causes irritation.

I just purchased my second tube of the new version of Shadow Insurance, at Ulta. The new, tube packaging with applicator has ruined the application experience, of the product. It is difficult to use and feels much drier. The prior version was quick and easy to apply--virtually foolproof. This applicator can also leave splotches, where too much product is dispensed by the wand, leaving the user to still need to smooth the product with their fingertips. I thought i would gamble on purchasing my once favorite product again, but to my dismay, it still disappoints. Please bring back the prior version. The packaging was smaller too and better for travel. I am sad that I need to find a different product to replace this. In the past, I recommended it to all. People were amazed to see me emerge from my swimming pool with my eyeshadow still in place, thats how good this was. I think the company should take note of the numerous like-minded reviews of this product, not just here, but other sites. Your decades long customers have spoken up.

I have been using this eyeshadow primer for a couple of years now. It used to come in a squeeze tube which was very convient-however now it comes in a screw top hard tube. The last 3 I've used have had the top screw on cap break in half, then product gets thick and dry as there is no seal (cap) left to close it up. Packaging needs to change.

Please change the packaging back! This is one of my favorite products and keeps my eye shadow on all day long. But once they changed the packaging I've reconsidered using. While it seems more convienent it introduces so much bacterial. Plus when I get down to the end I wont be able to get the product completely out like the last version. Please change it back!

I loved the old product in a tube and was a die heart loyalist. The new wand dispenser is horrible. The consistency has changed, it's difficult to get out of the cylinder, doesn't apply well, is sometimes watery and overall doesn't work. I'm on the hunt for a new product from a different company.

I have used Eye Insurance for many years now. I loved the small tube for its ease of use--squirt a dab on one's fingertips and apply. The new version has a tube with a clunky wand. It is unwieldy. I can't get the amount needed to dispense properly. The wand applicator seems less sanitary and unsafe for use around the eyes. I fear getting bacteria onto the sponge applicator and it growing inside the mascara sized tube, plus, its more garbage for the landfill than the previous packaging. The smaller tubes, sans applicator, was easy to pack for travel as well. I have loved the product because it keeps my eyeshadow on, even in my swimming pool, which is amazing. Please, Too Faced, don't disappoint fans of this product and bring back the other, better, safer, more eco-friendly product.

I hate the new packaging. Hard to get the amount out you need. Especially when you get to the end. This has to be a new formula. Not as good as the old one. I'm going to have to find a different primer.

I can tell when I don't add the primer before applying my eyeshadow. When I don't, it doesn't go on smoothly and leaves a skip look. I'm getting older and can see the difference. This has been added to my routine.

I have used too Faced Shadow Insurance for years up until now. I purchased one tube with the wand and will never purchase it again. Such a waste of money due to the product waste. Can't get the product out sufficiently to use. This makes me very sad because I have always enjoyed this product. I will definitely be shopping for an alternative.

I love this product, but every time I buy it, the cover breaks. You should challenge some of your engineers on packaging concepts — it's just not normal.

This used to be a great product but since they changed the packaging it is horrible. The product dries out and isnt very convenient to use. Will not recommend.

This product has been a go-to for years! It makes my shadow stay put and prevents creases. BUT why did you change the packaging? It runs out much faster (which is good for company-makes more money when we buy more frequently) and overall, i just don't like the sponge applicator. One of these in the old packaging lasted me six months of daily use, easily. I am now buying every 1.5-2 months. Ridiculous.

I have used this product for years and love it. Have not found anything else that protects eye makeup from creasing and smudging like this does. Works in humid environments too. I often receive compliments on my shadow and am asked what brand I use. To which I answer but tell them it only looks this good because of the primer I use. Having said that, I have gone from buying this product twice a year to practically every month because of the new packaging. The cap is very delicate and cracks almost immediately upon use, which dries the product out. I've managed this by using electrical tape to wrap the cap as soon as it cracks, which prolongs the product's usability for a while. It's very annoying and I wish Too Faced would pay attention to this. But I can't live without it, so I put up the annoyance and extra expense.

New packaging is impossible to use and get anything out off. Doesn't go on easy, huge pain. Was a cult follower of the old stuff.

I had a hard time applying. The applicator is like a feathered sponged. What I was able to apply did not layer correctly. I did not use. The shadow palette was great. The colors stayed on well all day. Without the primer. I would not buy again.

While this product did hold my eye shadow in place during a 10 hour bartending shift and then through 4 hours of sleep, the product is extremely difficult to get out of the container and does not want to come off the "doe" tip and onto my skin. I can only imagine the amount of product that is waisted inside the packaging if I can't even get it to adhere to the doe tip while it is brand new. I also didn't appreciate that it messed with my other products do to how "aggressive" I had to be to get the product off the doe tip.

This is the best eye primer I've used but the old packaging needs to come back. Like many of the other reviews this new packaging is horrible. Produce dried out and the lid cracks. Thought it was a fluke but it happened again and I came here to see if it's just me but no. Going to switch to something else until I see a change has been made. I hoping for it!
