  • A: We're sorry to hear that you're having trouble. You can remove your brush head by gripping the head and handle in opposite hands, bristles facing away from you. Stops Working, Cheap Design - Would not Recommend

I was a quip customer for years, replaced my Sonic Toothbrush with a new one about 7 months ago and it broke, so I had it replaced. The second one broke after just one brush head replacement. Just stopped vibrating at all. Never had this problem in the past, so it seems like there's a real design problem with the newer version. Would not recommend, as it's been annoying to replace and useless because it stops vibrating after just a few months of use. A real shame, this used to be a great electronic toothbrush.

The design for the brush head is weird, it isn't very sturdy and flexes with pressure. The vibration feature seems finicky with how the head sits on the base, so the flexibility of the brush head is an issue for functionality. Heads are hard to take on and off when swapping

Flaw design

It keeps breaking! i change the batteries and it wont even vibrate. try cleaning the insides to take out paste build-up and it wont work properly. i’ve had it changed with the gurantee and the same thn happened again within months of the replacement.

Pretty bad functionality but really cute! I was looking forward to this purchase, especially after waiting 8 years and being recommended it numerous times. Unfortunately, I feel like it sucks and it's not a worthwhile purchase despite the hype. The brush head is pretty bad and absorbs my toothpaste into itself. While I'm brushing, the brush head is too flat after absorbing the toothpaste so it doesn't feel like it's doing anything for my teeth. It doesn't feel like the brush head is brushing my teeth at all and you would be better with a different brand or a manual toothbrush for the price.

I’m a believer!

I like simplicity and elegance. I hate contraptions and clutter. So when Quip first introduced their Sonic Toothbrush, I knew it was made for me. Over the years, I’ve worn out a few (nothing lasts forever), so I’ve just received my 4th one. My dental checkups have never been better, and I don’t have cords all over my bathroom vanity. And getting a new brush head and battery in the mail every few months is very convenient. Plus, it’s a breeze to travel with. I’m a believer!

Bad brushes

Two quip toothbrushes (one rechargeable and one battery) wil not stay on for the duration of the 2 minute brush. They turn off part way through brushing and sometimes can be restarted for a little bit, but then turn off completely, dead. Had earlier Quip toothbrush and did not have this problem. Bad switch on latest models?

Disappointed in this toothbrush.

I wasn't pleased with this toothbrush. I purchased 2/28 and a week later the battery already gave out. I love the toothpaste and it cleans teeth well, but unfortunately I already need to purchase another toothbrush. I also found the button is a little tough to turn on I wish it was a little more sensitive to the touch.

An product that’s no good anymore

I used to love these toothbrushes and have been using them for years. Then suddenly I have had to buy 3 in the last year! Every time I need to change the battery and brush, the quip quits working! I know how to do the change because I did them for 4 years without incident. I’m going to try one more time and then I’m done. Would not recommend at this time.

Difficulties

I bought this because I wasn't able to change the brush on my last quip. Now the new one is very hard to push the power button. I like the way it brushes which is why I bought a second one, but it is a hassle trying to turn it on and off.

Battery is terrible. I have to replace the battery every week or so just to get anything out of it and it never lasts an entire 2 minutes. I imagine my tooth brush has to be a dud, otherwise they wouldn’t be so popular. It is disappointing though. I like the speed of the vibration and the toothbrush, it just almost never works.

Overpriced junk

This product is basically a scam. For $20 you get a vibrating toothbrush and a commitment to spend $35 per year on replacement heads when they wear out. Alternatively, you could get a normal vibrating toothbrush for $3 and use it for longer. Also, the brush head is small compared to other toothbrushes so it isn’t as good at actually brushing my teeth.
