Not happy
It burned my forehead slightly. I didn’t know it had ammonia in it because I had used deposit only Féria hair color in the past. It also left my hair frizzy and looking more damaged.

Color didn’t work for me unfortunately too red!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately this came out too red on my hair. I only did a small piece before trying the whole thing and thankfully I did. I don’t know how it would feel on the scalp because of that, but the instructions were easy and the coverage was good! It was just the color for me.

Chocolate brown-dont do it!!!!
This toner is dark ash, if you’ve transitioned to gray hair, don’t do it. It won’t work like the picture on box. This deposits dark chocolate/red brown color. Had to have a professional color removal done

Do not buy this. I purchased the deep brown espresso and the results are awful. My roots are orange. My hair was dark brown and I was just touching up my roots. I’m going to have to put a bag over my head to go get a new box tomorrow.

I would recommend this color to a friend. I got the French coffee, since it's winter, I chose to go with something warmer. I normally buy the irdence brown, but cold colors don't cover greys, which, reading these reviews, I think that lack of knowledge is a problem for a lot of people. French is a perfect color.

Horrible horrible. Burned part of my scalp. My hair felt in big chunks. Left my hair a big messed. They should take this product off the market.

Terrible color!!! Says it’s “French roast” but looks bright auburn.. Turned my roots a bright orange/red. I use this brand all the time and just needed to touch up roots. Chose a lighter color than usual just try and instantly regretted it.

Follow the directions and got great results.
Because I work from home now, I get to try new fun hair colors. I got this dye everywhere. It immediately washed the rugs and clothes with spray and wash, and it came off of everything. No stains. I am going to use this brand again and try one with a more purple tint next time. I read the negative reviews, and I do not think they read the instructions or fully understand how the process works. Not that I am an expert. My natural hair color is dark with red undertones. If you do the red color, make sure to NOT use shampoo when rinsing out. Follow the directions.
