Would return if I could
The beaters are very thin, cream cheese is lumpy after beating. Because the grooves of the rotating speed control are small and almost flush to the surface of the mixer it is difficult and it takes longer to put enough pressure on the dial to change the speed.

Quit working
Second time using this and it stopped working. The dial lights up, but the motor won't turn the beaters and it's sounds like it's stuck somehow. Luckily I had my 20+ year old Kitchenaid mixer to finish what I was making. I hope I can get a new one through the warranty, but a little jaded towards Cuisinart products since this quit working after one use!

Outstanding!
This is a very well thought out & designed hand mixer. I appreciate the cord being able to be wrapped up & then the sleeve sliding over it to keep it in place & out of the way when in my cupboard. I also appreciate the additional whisk attachment. The mixer has a good motor to deliver the power I need to mix things up well. The price was very reasonable. I am very pleased with this hand mixer! Cuisinart’s reputation is very high for good reason! I appreciate their attention to customers.

I absolutely love this hand mixer. The design aspect of the hidden cord within the appliance is convenient and no cord to wrap around the appliance for storage. Overall this mixer is impressive !

Nice Hand Mixer
I like the mixer but have little experience with others. The different speeds are definitely a plus. I am uncertain if the high is fast enough as I haven't used it much. I have owned several #10 food processors and use it all the time but recently tried to make divinity and needed a slow speed to start the candy. So far, it's doing a fine job.

Pros: Mixer is easy to stand on its end. Slow speed is great for mixing in flour. The sleeve has convenient notches to direct the power cord away from th bowl. Cons: The sleeve traps ingredients which have spattered. The beaters vibrate excessively, hurting my arthritic arm & hand joints. The handle is too high & it is uncomfortable to use any of the other hand grips. It is difficult to impossible to turn it off quickly. The beaters are too deep/long; there was batter spattered all over my kitchen even though I have a deep mixing bowl. The beaters are not powerful so it took much longer than normal to combine the cookie ingredients. I totally regret this purchase.

I love the thought put into the design of this mixer. Everything from the flat back that allows you to stand it upright after mixing to the cord management was well thought out and makes it a pleasure to use. It also mixes really well with plenty of power and is quiet. I am very happy I decided on purchasing it!

Cuisinart Hand Mixer
I replaced my hand mixer because the brand I had didn't have a low speed, and everything I tried to use the mixer for was a horrible mess. I ordered the Cuisinart mixer and ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. Its easy to clean, a the cord reel is fabulous. I would highly recommend this mixer.

Very nice aesthetic and functional design but underpowered
This is attractive and I like the inclusion of the whisk, the cord storage, the speed setting ease and the overall design is really appealing. I bought this on an emergency basis for quick delivery after my old hand mixer beaters malfunctioned and they're no longer manufactured so I could not replace them and I had to finish a recipe. The only reason I'm giving this three stars instead of five is that it felt substantially underpowered by comparison to my old KitchenAid handheld mixer. If you don't need a workhorse this is a very good bargain pick.

Does the job
It wasn't obvious at first how to power it but I figured it out. The handle has a nice diameter for someone with big hands like me, but the angle is a bit awkward since it is at a right angle. It stands nicely on the counter when you stop for a moment. Satisfied with the purchase.

Bad! Just looks nice
One beater shakes horribly. Motor makes a noise like a cheap, poorly manufactured one. Plus at the highest speed it is not fast enough. Don't believe the reviews.

Not powerful for a corded handmixer.
Not very powerful for a heavy and corded hand mixer. Max speed of five barely mixes cake mix. Would not work on dough. My 15 year old hand mixer that is not a name brand that cost $10-$15 works better, much lighter and will mix cookie dough. I thought I was upgrading and was disappointed. If I did not get this on sale, definitely not worth the price. Usually cuisinart makes decent products.
