The best shampoo I used in a while!

I’m currently dealing with hair damage, dryness, and breakage, so I’m very careful about what I use to cleanse my hair. This shampoo cleans effectively without leaving my hair stripped or rough, which is important for damaged and color-treated strands. After washing, my hair feels softer, lighter, and easier to manage, with a noticeable improvement in shine. My scalp also feels clean and comfortable, not tight or irritated. It works well as part of a moisture-focused routine and doesn’t cause buildup or excessive tangling. Overall, it’s a gentle but effective cleanser that supports damaged hair rather than making it worse.

I was intrigued by the concept and the packaging/marketing for this brand. Maybe it's just not good for my hair type, but I'm not impressed, especially considering how pricey it is. The shampoo does appear to have glitter in it, so I was concerned about glitter getting everywhere. But after 2 uses, I don't really think there is actual glitter, but it is very sparkley. The smell is almost nonexistent and is a very faint mint smell, which also isn't my thing. It lathers well, which surprises me because I think this is sulfate free although I cannot see that listed anywhere as a feature. I don't recognize any of the ingredients as being a sulfate but I could be wrong. Maybe that's part of why I don't like this because my hair just does not perform well with sulfate free shampoos. For instance, after rinsing this out, my hair felt coarse, dry and tangled as if it was over cleansed, yet once dry, my roots still felt a bit greasy. This shampoo is also very sticky and thick. I'll cover the conditioner here too. Also not impressed. Same smell although it almost smells like stale, cheap mints (if you know what I mean my that). It didn't condition enough for me, I still had some tangles (which I normally have none and can brush through my wet hair easily), and my hair was way less softer feeling than with my other shampoos I use. My scalp also has a tendency to itch with some products, and this combo was one of them. Sadly it's all going in the trash after only 2 uses.

The shampoo is so pretty with shimmer but does tough work cleaning the hair without stripping it. My hair is soft and easy to manage after shampooing. This collection is top tier. My hair is truly flourishing.
