If you're looking for a sticky primer look no further. This goes on very easily but definitely leaves a sticky tacky texture to apply your makeup to. It's great for when you want that smooth finished look when doing a full face of makeup. I received this product in exchange for my honest review. I typically use the Milani SPF BFF primer, and I have to say I like the elf base gripper primer so much better. It keeps my makeup in place through an 8 hour shift, and I don’t feel shiny or greasy like with Milani. I even got compliments at work about how good my makeup looked and this was the only change I made. It feels sticky when applying but dries down quickly, and has no smell, the pump is easy to use. Love it.

I love a sticky primer - I find that it works really well in the dry climate I live in to keep my makeup from drying out into a patchy, crusty or powdery mess. This works best with my liquid foundation and concealers. I also use very little powder over it. This will increase the smoothness and longevity of my base especially for evening looks. I found it didn’t jive as well with my current sunscreen but I am willing to try again when and if I go with a different type of sun protection. Overall, I am happy to put this in my arsenal. I recommend this product to any foundation user because honestly, at this price, you might as well try it! I found myself pleasantly surprised and very pleased with the results.

I get really flaky skin and have used primers that make it worse and my make up just shifts around and smears. This kept it in place and stopped my make up from looking flaking. It's hydrating and has amazing hold.

(Received product free to test) I'm really enjoying this primer. I don't love the feel as it goes on, almost feels like rubbing tacky glue on your face. But it dries down nicely and keeps foundation in place, even on hot days at the baseball field. And the best part is it doesn't make my sensitive skin break out. As a note, I have dry to normal skin. I'm not sure how well it would work for oily skin types.

This has become my favorite primer! I love that this comes in a jumbo size - it will last me such a long time. The primer feels a little sticky immediately after application, but dries well. My foundation pairs well with this primer - no pilling or melting. It lasts all day (and even all night if I forget to wash my makeup off lol). It gives you a wonderful tacky surface to have your make up hold on to all day. You need to give it a little time before applying your foundation. It is definitely on par with the high price point tacky primers.

I received this product free for review. I already use the normal size Grip Primer, so there's not much of a difference in it being in a jumbo size for me. I don't wear makeup every day. I wear makeup maybe 2-3 times a week. I have normal skin that leans slightly oily. At the end of an 8 hour shift, my face is dewy, but not super greasy. For me, jumbo size doesn't make a difference in my collection.
