L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Original Volume Building Waterproof Black Brown Mascara is uniquely formulated to resist clumping, keep lashes soft, and build lashes up to 5X their natural thickness. Pretty disappointed
I got the burgundy one… does it give volume? Sure. Can u tell it’s burgundy? No. And that was my whole reason of getting it. My lashes already are big and bold so I wanted the COLOR. But yeah.. it gives length and volume if that’s what you want.

This stuff dried out by the third use, and was clumpy the first time I used it, as well. It also isn’t cruelty free, which bothered me. I switched to the e.l.f. mascara and was much more satisfied.

Formula changed
I think L'Oreal has changed a few of their mascara formulas. I've been using this one since high school and am now 40! But I've noticed just the past few times within a year or 2 that I've bought this, it's such a different consistency than what I'm used to. It's kind of sticky, doesn't wash off easily, and not as easy to apply. It's almost like the waterproof formula (which I don't like bc of the texture). I wish products would stay the same through the years. Now I don't know which one to buy to get the consistency I want.

Flakes off and impossible to remove
Bring back the old formula. I have been a loyal customer for almost 30 years. The mascara is now impossible to get off my eyelashes. I actually thought that I accidentally bought waterproof mascara. Nope! I have tried several different eye makeup removal methods and plain soap and water. Nothing works. The mascara also flakes everywhere. It irritates my eyes and forget being able to wear contacts with it. I am so sad but I will have to change to a different brand.

The formula must have changed. I have worn voluminous mascara for almost 30 years. It now flakes off and irritates my eyes. I am so sad because I used to love this mascara. I will have to find another brand. I have tried other L’Oréal products but they all irritate my eyes. Very disappointed.

I’ve been using this mascara since I started wearing mascara 15 years ago. I just bought a new tube and feel completely betrayed as they have changed the formula that I have come to rely on. Someone please let me know when they bring back the old formula, and in the mean time I’ll be looking for a new mascara :(

Sucks
I’ve used this mascara since 1995. My most recent purchase Is very notably not the same. It’s awful. It hardly lengthens and it too wet and makes my lashes stick together. This is the opposite of how it used to work. This new formula sucks.

Terrible new formula
This was the mascara that I used for decades and now it clumps. Also, very difficult to remove. Go back to the old formula! Horrible experience!

I’ve loved and used L’Oréal voluminous original for years but they have changed their formula. Now it’s gummy and I’m disappointed with it. Please change it back

I used to recommend it to others, and I’ve had many compliments on the length and fullness of my lashes. I’m sad that L’Oreal decided to change the formula, as I’m no longer a fan of this product.
