Description

Help remove odor-causing residues in your washing machine with OxiClean Washing Machine Cleaner with Odor Blasters. If you've noticed odors on your clothes, your washing machine might be the cause. These pre-measured pouches combine Odor Blasters with the power of OxiClean to clean your washing machine, remove odors, and help keep it smelling fresh. To use, tear one washer cleaner pouch and toss into an empty washer without clothes or other items. Select the Clean Washer Cycle and run the machine without laundry detergent. If the washer doesn’t have a Clean Washer Cycle, run in a normal hot water cycle. After the cycle is complete, wipe away any remaining residue with a towel and leave the washing machine door open to allow better ventilation. For maintenance, use OxiClean washing machine cleaner once a month to help keep your HE or standard washing machine looking and smelling clean. For existing odors and residues, use once a week for three consecutive weeks, then once a month thereafter for maintenance.   • A: I just compared ingredients. The Oxiclean White Revive has all the same ingredients, plus protease enzyme, amylase enzyme, Disodium Distyryl., Disulfate. I will try using it instead of buying the washer cleaner. The cleaner packs contain 2.82 ounces. Maybe I will weigh it to get the same amount? ~3 ounces.

NOT unscented!

For anyone else sensitive to fragrance/scents, this is definitely not 'unscented' as the listing says (I realize there's a difference between unscented and fragrance free as well, but this definitely has a noticeable scent, not just masking fragrance). The scent is super strong once used and has lingered for several wash/rinse cycles so far. I'm nervous it'll be on all my laundry now too. I can't really speak to how it cleans, as I didn't notice any debris in the washing drum before or after using it.

Potent Smell

Definitely not "unscented". Product has a strong smell and "fragrances" is even listed in the ingredients. I guess I should have checked the ingredients (or reviews), but its definitely misleading to have Unscented be the first word of the product name. Might work ok, but I dont know because I'll be returning.

Lies about being unscented!!!!

Claims to be unscented but has fragrances! That is not unscented! I almost bought this BECAUSE it says it is unscented and I need fragrance free products due to severe allergies. Only in the question/answer section did I find that they include fragrances to leave your machine fresh. That's not unscented! The label information does say it contains fragrances but I almost bought it just based on the front labeling without checking. It's disgusting to market it as unscented when it has fragrances in it with the intent of making it "smell fresh."

Gross smell! Do not buy!!!

Stuff is gross. It smells really musky and like tellable cheap perfume didn’t clean my washer and I couldn’t get the smell out of my washer. I just threw away the whole box. This is terrible if you’re adverse to scents.

It stinks (literally)

There was a light musty smell coming from the wash, so we decided to try OxiClean Washing Machine Cleaner instead of our usual product. It was so heavily perfumed, it triggered the air filter in our bedroom (a flight up, and not directly over the laundry area), and we now need to figure out how to make the washing machine not smell of OxiClean. We're both sensitive to laundry scents, and this makes our machine unusable.

Smells like a funeral home

This may or may not have cleaned the washer, but it definitely smells like a funeral home. After 2 tub cleans and 7 loads of laundry the tub still stinks of this stuff. I hope it eventually goes away. I’m tossing the rest of the box.
