A: Scrub Mommy, in my opinion, has a sponge that is not very absorbent. The sponge on Sponge Daddy is a much better quality.

Q: May I safely scrub my marble or granite countertops with the more abrasive flex texture side of the sponge? Would it be scratch free on those surfaces?

Excellent Bath sponges for daily bath. I quit all other bath sponges because poor quality, construction, and design was unsuitable for my purposes. Although these are labeled kitchen sponge best fit for me is bath. This is why … does not hold bacteria, easy to keep clean and dry for next use, does not fall apart and acts as two in one! The two in one apples to the exfoliation side with gentle touch and cleaning with soft side that holds soaps, gels, and foams to make your bath luxurious. The sponge saved on bath products and I love it with my sugar scrubs. Now I have decided to use these for my sweet little pets. They are gentle on them and they enjoy getting lathered for their bath experience. Best of all it fits in my hand perfectly. This is my purchased experience that makes bath time fun and the utility use in kitchen. Yes great on porcelain, Waterford crystal, and vintage China as well as sage on antique furniture when cleaning. Now pack up and store keeping your sponges stocked!! Remember it’s durable in kitchen and bath, quality at a great price, and numerous uses for your chores and beauty bath!

My favorite dish sponge. I love this set because I hate having a sponge sit for too long. I feel it is a receipe for bacterial growth. this combo of 4 makes it so I get a scrub daddy and sponge all in 1 so for me it is more purposeful and less wasteful. I know some people just put their scrub daddy in the dishwasher but that just grosses me out. I wish I could be more sustainable but for now, this is my solution.

I keep buying these because they dry out quickly and therefore don't get stinky and full of germs. They also surprisingly scrub well even though the rough side is plastic. I am weary of scrubbing certain delicate surfaces however because the plastic is scratchier than the softer green non-scratch pad you find on most sponges.

This was my first time using any Scrub Daddy product. I wasn’t too sure if I should have gotten the normal smiley face one but when I used this sponge it was okay. It felt very comfortable to use and wasn’t too bulky like other sponges. The downfall was how these sponges didn’t last long. I don’t know if I do dishes too often or what. But I would have to replace my sponge quicker than usual. This type of sponge has a ton of “ air bubbles” which gives it the iconic texture. And because of this the sponge would kind of lose it cleaning power/go flat. And overtime it would sort of……disintegrate. Pieces of the color sponge would flake off when I washed dishes resulting in a poor wash. Again, I think I will have to try out the original sponge to test if the product is really this way or not.

I don’t know if I had a bad batch, but the 2 I’ve used so far fell apart within 1 week. Scrubbers were disintegrating before my eyes like quicksand with each subsequent hand wash of dishes. Disappointing.
