I have tried SO many curly hair creams it’s actually insane. Every single one promised “defined, hydrated, frizz-free curls” and every single one left my hair dry, crunchy, or weirdly puffy. Some wouldn’t layer with anything they’d pill, flake, or make my hair feel stiff and coated. My curls would look good for maybe 20 minutes and then boom… frizz city. And then I came across the Marc Anthony hair lotion cream.When I tell you this is the BEST thing that has ever touched my curls, I mean it. The texture alone?? Unreal. It’s smooth, creamy, and lightweight but still rich enough to actually hydrate. It doesn’t feel heavy, greasy, or sticky it just melts into my hair. The way it goes on wet hair is EVERYTHING. It glides so smoothly and evenly, almost like it’s hugging each curl instead of sitting on top of it.And the hydration??? Finally, a curl cream that doesn’t dry my hair out. My curls stay soft, defined, and bouncy instead of stiff and crunchy. It mixes beautifully with my other products too no flaking, no weird residue, no buildup. Just smooth, juicy curls.Another thing I love is that a little goes a long way. I don’t have to overload my hair to get results. Even a small amount spreads easily and gives me consistent definition throughout my whole head. That alone makes it worth it.Honestly, I really hope they NEVER change the formula because whatever magic is in this bottle needs to stay exactly how it is. The texture is hands down the best part it’s not thick and pasty like other creams. It’s the perfect in between that keeps my curls looking wet, smooth, and healthy without weighing them down.After wasting money on so many products that overpromised and underdelivered, this one actually does what it says. My curls feel moisturized, look shiny, and stay defined way longer. This is officially a staple in my routine, and I don’t see myself switching anytime soon. If you’ve struggled with dry, frizzy curls like I have, this might genuinely change the game for you.

It gives my curls definition, shine, and hold. I love this for my finer curls. With this product my curls still look great even on day 3 and 4 after wash day.

Honestly this is the ONY product that gives my sons hair that extra curl. It looks curlier after applying this.

Leaves hair soft instead of crunchy.

This product was a horrible experience. It doesn't make my hair frizzy, but when it dries, it creates a kind of fuzz that leaves a dirty residue on my clothes and head. I absolutely do not recommend it. Now it looks like I have dandruff all over my hair. Don't waste your money on this product.

I have wavy curly hair and I use this in addition to production with more hold like mousse or gel. It works very nicely that way. The trick is to just not use too much or the silk protein will leave your hair feeling dry

It’s missing something. It doesn’t work close to scalp area leaving me with a halo of frizz. My other curl cream didn’t do that but I can’t get it anymore so I’m thrown back into the abyss of trying to find a product that works with my hair

I had a horrible experience with this product. From the very first use, my hair felt noticeably drier, more tangled, and lost all shine—it became dull and lifeless. Worse, I started experiencing more hair fall than usual, which was extremely concerning. Every time I touched my hair, tiny white particles would flake off, almost like dandruff (which I don’t have), making it look and feel dirty. It was frustrating and embarrassing. I had high hopes based on the brand, but this product did the complete opposite of what it promised for curly hair. Definitely would not recommend—use with caution if you care about your curls and scalp health.

I've been using it for a while it's a good product I won't lie it does help with frizz and all that but if I'm being honest it's overrated like it's not worth all that hype and it's a bit expensive but it doesn't reach the standard of how it's priced

I have used the Strictly Curls curl defining LOTION for years with great results. I've loved this product and so I was so disappointed when I abruptly noticed they had changed the formula. Now my hair does NOT survive the day frizz free and my curls fall. Please offer the old formula again!

I've been buying the Marc Anthony Curl Shampoo & Conditioner along with the Curl Envy cream, spray in conditioner and sometimes using the curl moose for awhile now. Probably started buying it a year ago or more. It was very affordable and made my curls look awesome! But here recently my head has been itching horribly and it's red, irritated and some sores even from the itching. When I looked it up I saw other people who had the same issues as I am having. Some people are saying that they recently changed the formula. They are stating that it is more of a white gel feel to it than a creamy conditioner feel. I don't know if that's the reason it is just now bothering me or if it just took awhile for the high alcohol content to dry out my scalp? But either way this is horrible! They need to take it off the shelf and not sale it at all or fix the problem with it! This company should not be allowed to sell a product like this that is affecting that many people! Now I have to find a fragrance free shampoo and conditioner and something else to treat my scalp. This is absolutely ridiculous and I would not recommend this product anymore!

The product said is frizz control and defined the curls bouncy hair BUT you ended with Flaky white residue all of your hair looking like you need to wash your hair if you have blonde hair and curly this product is perfect for you but for latinas that have dark hair no Good 😔

This product is amazing. Ot leaves your hair soft and it smells really good.

When I was new to the strictly curls line I thought I was buying a bigger bottle of the Cream but got home and tried this. It does not work the same and that might be my bad but this did nothing but make my hair even more dry.
