    you can't use it in store to return or exchange, you have to figure it out on your own with Allstate.

    Protection Plan Confirmation Email Not Received

    The issue is not with the policy itself. It is with the process. I never received the policy confirmation email that Target said to expect. When I did not receive it, Target customer service was not helpful and downright dismissive. They indicated the email had been sent and it was probably an email error on my end. Finally, I was told to call customer service for Square Trade. And there I was given another set of instructions (for example, the confirmation email is not automatically sent) to upload my receipt. To date, I have not received an email and SquareTrade cannot resend one even though they realize the email was not sent. They do not have the capability to re-generate an email. So the resolution is they will send a hard copy of my protection plan.

    Waste of money

    You can’t get a refund even if you return your item, never buying insurance for anything again, I didn’t even got the email for insurance information

    Sent back a different color item with broken piece

    We sent in like new controllers and we were sent back different color controllers in worse condition. They may have worked however the colors are different and they are in much worse cosmetic condition. Not happy to this point. Dealing with customer service now to see if this is standard service.

    Not Returnable

    Returns: The returns section says it can be returned online or to any target store however, I was told by my local target store I had to return with SquareTrade. SquareTrade said I had to return the protection plan to target. I got on chat and was told the item can't be returned. The returns section needs to be updated. I was granted a "one time exception" and given a refund. I understand if things like this cannot be returned, but then the website needs to be updated. Just be ware!

    Third parties!

    I bought the warranty for 2 sega game consoles and had to return them and I was able to get my merchandise refund but I was told that third party represented the warranty. I would not be getting a refund. If I knew there was a third party I wouldn’t have purchased in the first place!
