Lasted a little more than a year and broke

I needed a medium sized food processor and didn't want to spend a lot of money. I found this on sale and it's been a great help. So far I have used it to make pesto, shred zucchini shred cheese.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am somewhat disappointed. When processing, food does not rotate from top to bottom. The lower food is more processed than the top. Also, there is a big space between the slicing blade and the bottom of the feed tube. Once the food being sliced gets short, it falls into that space and doesn’t get sliced.

I was disappointed I could not find parts to fix that one. Anyway, this new one is garbage. very plastic, the buttons are weird to me. On my first use, it did not shred the cheese very well (big chunks that did not shred due to the lid or something. The processor slowed down and I had to readjust the cheese block and press lighter? This thing is hot garbage. I really do not like it at all. The Kitchen Aid brand just lost a customer due to this. I no longer associate your name with quality.

Love the 3 cup version so I splurged and bought this 7 cup one, but it broke in the middle of my 2nd time using it. The button lights kept flashing and it wouldn't spin more than a couple seconds, it was so frustrating! Tried it again with nothing inside the next day and still got flashing lights. Thankfully was able to return for a refund, but I'll be buying something different next time.

This is a significant upgrade to our old food processor. We are still testing it out but so far it works great! I also love how easy it is to clean. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This food processor is AMAZING! I love that it just snaps down and doesn’t have to twist on. I love that the lid hinges on and comes off with ease. I used it to make coleslaw and it held about a half of an average head of cabbage at a time which was great with me. It is a little smaller than the one I had before but this one will be much easier to store and the ease of use makes up for the size. It shredded fast and smooth and wasn’t loud. It cleaned up super easy! I honestly have nothing bad to say about it!!!!

I made a graham cracker crust and it pulsed the graham crackers in no time at all. Super easy to clean and put together. I love the extra shredding attachment as well. In love! It's very heavy and durable and it's very safe in the sense of you can't cut yourself while it's running. Cleaning this is a breeze it's dishwasher safe and it's easy to not get the base dirty. Overall reccomend esp if you have children.
