Waste
I used this item one time to collect colostrum and after washing it, it no longer has suction and is useless. Waste of money.

It is more of a short season pump, as your hand may be tired if you’re someone who wants to pump for a long period of time. I would suggest this to every breastfeeding mother.

Sad Suction
I wanted to throw this across the room. I am awaiting a pump in the mail and bought this for desperate relief from milk coming in and being too much for baby to latch. This would have taken me so long to express what I needed to with the low suction. I tried the various settings which I will say I do appreciate. For such a basic machine, it had great features. But, unfortunately not the right fit for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE the medela hand pump!! I used this my entire breastfeeding journey! I have a wearable and wall pump as well- but this is a MUST HAVE. I keep one in my car as well as home! Great for emergency on the go, I got in several sticky situations where I was out longer than expected and in pain. I easily pulled this out of my diaper bag and didn’t have to worry about charged batteries / a plug in nearby! Also perfect for clogged ducts or mastitis. I am an over producer and frequently get clogged ducts because of it and this is the only thing that helps relieve / release them! It’s a gentle but VERY strong suction. Super lightweight. Pretty silent as far as pumps go. Absolutely would recommend to any and all breastfeeding moms!

The suction is great and it fits well. I love how easy this is to clean and maintain. I like that it comes with extras for extended longevity of use. I would recommend this to anyone. This a favorite brand of mine for years while breastfeeding my children.

Great for the engorged
If your milk is coming in steady this is great. I only use this at night when I’m engorged. It’s quiet and easy. Thoroughly read the instructions, the placement of the o-ring is important along with not damaging it. I recommend looking up a few videos on pumping rhythms so that milk flows out efficiently.

I did not have the Medela Harmony manual breast pump with my first breastfeeding journey. I can say it has been such a game changer in the second thyme breastfeeding. I have one breast that produces most my milk. And this comes in handy at night when I didn't want to take out the whole pump system. It's also great for traveling. I just didn't always need a full breast pump and this did exactly the same thing with less parts to clean

Suction like the baby

Cleaning is breeze and it fits perfectly in my sanitizer. It is so comfortable, there was no need to change flanges. I couldn’t be happier!
