Peace of mind
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This baby monitor is so nice. The set up was really quick and user friendly. I sleep so much better now knowing I will get notified if my baby girl wakes up rather than worrying all night. Absolutely love that the wires are hidden and I don’t have to worry about her grabbing them. I have more time to do things like clean up the house or just relax and read while my daughter sleeps. The app is amazing! I was given this baby monitor to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but I would absolutely it recommend for new parents.

Our favorite baby product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this baby monitor through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I could not love it more. Setup was super easy, and we had it up and running in no time. One of my favorite things about the Nanit is being able to open the app and check on my son anytime, even when I'm not home and he's with another caregiver. It gives me so much peace of mind to be able to do quick check-ins. I tell everyone that my favorite TV channel is the Nanit app because I love watching my son in his crib. We also use the two-way audio all the time. Sometimes when he wakes up during a nap or in the middle of the night, all he wants is for me to sing him a song. Being able to do that through the monitor without physically being in the room has saved us from a lot of unnecessary crib visits. It's become such a routine that he'll point up at the camera and say, "Mama, sing!" My favorite feature, though, is the video playback. It's wonderful for capturing sweet moments and sharing them with family. One of my favorite clips is of our son singing "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" to himself in his crib at 3 a.m. in adorable toddler gibberish. But the playback feature ended up being valuable in a much more important way. One night, my son woke up struggling to breathe, and we rushed him to the emergency room. We were shaken up and scared and had no clue what was going on. We were able to show the doctor exactly what had happened on the recording before we arrived. They were able to see the distress he was in and hear his barky cough, which allowed them to immediately diagnose him with croup. Moments like that are why I appreciate this monitor so much. Beyond the day-to-day convenience, it gives me confidence and peace of mind as a parent. It's one of the few baby products that has truly become part of our everyday routine, and I can't imagine being without it.

Great monitor Cool features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The nanit was a little difficult to set up. It took me some trial and error and way more time than I thought it would. I had trouble getting the camera to connect to my wifi upstairs (our router is downstairs). They do recommend having the router close to the nanit or buying a wifi extender but I didn't want to have to move my router or buy an additional product. Once I got it set up it was really cool to see how clear the display was. I like having the 8 in monitor screen apart from my phone too. I could keep that on while she was napping or sleeping and then I didn't have to constantly be checking my phone. I like that I can also see her from my phone though. I was able to check on her from my friend's house (when she was put to bed by dad). I like that you can customize settings for alerts. I didn't want to be alerted for every noise and movement so I set it to only tell me if she is crying or standing or somehow out of bed (my daughter is 22 months FYI). One of my other favorite things is the little sped up videos. You can watch a recap of your child's night. We were laughing at one of them where I was looking for her paci all around the crib. It's cute to see my husband checking in on her and saying good night too. The monitor only came with a breathing band for 6-12 pounds. My daughter is 22 months old so I wasn't able to test the breathing feature without buying an additional product. I wish I had had the Nanit when my son was a newborn just home from the NICU. It would have alleviated my fears a lot and allowed me to sleep easier. It is cool that you can buy sleep sacks and pjs to track breathing as well though. I like the two way talk function and that you can turn on a night light or sound if you want to. I like that it analyzes her sleep and lets me know how long she was awake, how long she cried, how many times we had to check in on her, etc. It gives her a sleep score and gives us tips on improving her sleep. It even tells me when she fell asleep and how long she has been asleep. I did have some issues with the product. Occasionally the monitor will tell me she is still in bed or asleep when I know she's not even in the room. I have reached out to their support about this issue and they are trying to help. We haven't completely figured it out yet. I also had an issue with the 8 inch display where the entire screen looked like static and I couldn't touch anything on the screen or hear anything or select anything. Somehow the issue resolved on its own.

The best baby monitor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The nanit baby monitor with the home display has changed the game for my family. I have a 18 month son and 1 on the way. We have been using the nanit since he was born and it has been great to be able to check in on him while I’m working or even to give grandma access to his camera so she can check in on him even though she lives half way across the world. The nanit has made connection so much easier. Even being able to speak to him with the speaker system has been great for those late night wakings where he needs reassurance to go back to bed. Even grandma sometimes sings him a lullaby before bed through the speaker. We could have never done that without the nanit. When nanit came out with the home display it was the greatest addition to the system. My mom watched my son regularly, and she isn’t the most technology savvy person. The iPad similar system has made it easier for her to check in him during nap times. It has also helped me at night time to just rely on the home display and not have to be glued to my phone all night worried about him. I’m grateful that the option exists to check through the phone or the display. Some days you just don’t want to be glued to your phone and it gives you the flexibility to take the home display with you around the house. We took our nanit on a recent ski trip to Canada and it has made all the difference to be able to just check your phone and see your little one sleeping. With another little one on the way we are excited to be able to see both of them on one screen. I am so grateful we got the nanit as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel because it has been a great addition to our nursery and stays as a staple item in my son’s room with the floor stand. We love our Nanit!

High Quality Baby Monitor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this baby monitor to test through Stellar Product Testing Panel. First impressions: the monitor is extremely high quality and high tech, especially compared to a different model I was using. I was blown away by the video quality. Set up: it was somewhat complicated given that it's Wi-Fi based, so there were a few pain points, but after about 45 min or so I had the stand and monitor set up and got it all connected. Daily Use: Like I mentioned above, this monitor has a high video quality which I appreciate. It was a nice to get a clear picture of my child and hear them clearly as well. My child is 1.5 so I did not use the breathing band, but I could see that being an amazing feature if you had a newborn. I love being able to watch clips from the previous night(although I don't love having to pay for a subscription in the future, more on this later). I like that the monitor holds a charge really well, I only need to charge it every couple of nights. Loves: high quality video and audio, fun and useful tech. Monitor holds a long charge. Cons: upon setting it up, the only way I could activate the camera was signing up for a subscription and putting in my credit card. I highly dislike that given the price point of this monitor. One other minor annoyance, on the monitor the volume buttons are placed backwards. I would think the volume up would be next to the power button, but it's the volume down button and I constantly hit it thinking I'm turning up the volume.

A baby monitor that gives me peace of mind
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using the Nanit Smart Baby Monitor System, I found several things I really liked, along with a few drawbacks. Pros: I love the large 8-inch display screen. The camera quality is very clear, and the night vision works great. The room temperature and humidity monitoring are a nice bonus because they help me make sure my baby is comfortable while sleeping. I also really like the breathing tracking feature. It gives me extra peace of mind knowing Nanit is monitoring my baby’s breathing throughout the night. Cons: The battery life on the display tablet doesn’t last as long as I would like. I also don’t love having to put the breathing band around my baby, as it feels like one extra layer when they’re already wearing pajamas and a sleep sack. Overall, I would continue using this product and would recommend it to friends. I prefer it over other leading baby monitor brands I’ve tried because of the video quality, monitoring features, and overall user experience. I was given this baby monitor to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

The Best Camera System For Parents
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family loves the Nanit Smart Baby Monitor System! When we received the system from Stellar Product Testing Panel to try out, we already had one Nanit camera in use. Adding the second camera to our app and setting it up with the floor stand and monitor took about 15 minutes. The camera is very sleek and modern looking making it easy to blend into any home aesthetic. The floor stand comes with little panels to help hide the cords as well which is much appreciated! As mentioned, we have two cameras, one in the bedroom overlooking the crib and one in the living room overlooking the playpen. The camera in the bedroom uses the floor stand which allows for a great view of our son’s crib area while he sleeps. We utilize the portable tablet monitor for the bedroom area as well so we can carry it around with us throughout the house after our little one goes to bed. We love this option, so we do not have to keep the monitor open on our phones. The monitor works great at alerting us to any cries or movement. We are so thankful for this setup as well as our little one is on a pulse ox monitor that is within view of the camera so we can see his saturation numbers at a glance without having to disturb his sleep. A feature in the app we absolutely love is the memories feature. We have captured cute moments with us playing together and been able to capture firsts we otherwise would not have memories of! Having two cameras in the main places our little one spends his time is wonderful for when one of us is on the go. We can always check in to see what is going on! Before receiving the second camera, we had a different popular camera in the crib area and adding the Nanit has been a huge improvement. I’d highly recommend the Nanit Smart Baby Monitor System for any family but especially for medical families!

Every parents should have this
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly, this monitor has become one of those things we use every day without even thinking about it. It helps me feel connected to my little one even when I’m cooking, cleaning, or in another room. Instead of constantly checking in, I can quickly look at the app and know everything is okay, which gives me a lot of peace of mind. The features I probably use the most are the sleep dashboard, notifications, and two-way audio. I like being able to see how my child’s sleep is going and notice patterns over time. The notifications are helpful because I don’t have to keep opening the app, and the two-way audio has come in handy when my little one needs a little reassurance before I walk into the room. The setup was very straightforward. I was expecting it to take longer, but it was actually pretty easy. I also liked being able to move the monitor between rooms depending on where we were spending most of the day. More than anything, it’s made me feel more confident and less anxious as a parent. There have been plenty of times when I checked the monitor instead of rushing into the room and realized everything was perfectly fine. Small things like that make a big difference. It’s become a helpful part of our routine and gives our family a little extra peace of mind every day.

LOVE MY NANIT
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I really like the Nanit baby monitor and stand! Once you get past the initial setup, it is incredibly easy to use every day. It did take me a little while to figure out how to get everything connected at first. Shortly after that initial connection, it did disconnect on me and I had to spend some time troubleshooting it—though, to be fair, that might have just been my own WiFi acting up. A quick heads-up for anyone buying this: it comes with a physical monitor, but I don’t really use it at all. I much prefer the app and rely solely on it! The app is fantastic and gives me total peace of mind because it allows me to easily check in on my toddler whenever I need to. What I Love: **The App:** Total game-changer. I rely on it 100% over the parent unit. **Sound Detection:** The sound detection level is great. If there’s a loud noise in the other room, it instantly alerts my phone so I’m always in the loop. **The Stand:** It’s super sturdy and gives a great view. If I could change one minor thing, I do wish the base of the stand were a bit smaller to save a little floor space. But even with that and the initial setup problem, it's a great system and I’d recommend it to other parents and purchase myself!

Must have baby item
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom of three, I’m constantly on the go between school drop-offs, pickups, and activities for my older children. Being able to check in on my baby’s sleep and breathing patterns from anywhere has been a complete game changer. Although he still wakes frequently throughout the night, I love being able to review his nighttime wake-ups, see how long he was awake, and track how often we checked on him. The setup process was incredibly simple. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and I especially love that I can move the monitor around the house with his bassinet rather than having it permanently mounted to a wall. Even with this being my third baby, I still experience anxiety during those early newborn months. Having the breathing monitor and access to his overnight stats has provided so much peace of mind. No matter where I am in the house, I can easily monitor his patterns and know that I’ll receive a loud alert if his breathing can no longer be detected. I also appreciate having both the app and the dedicated monitor. The portable monitor allows me to keep an eye on him while still using my phone for other tasks throughout the day. One of my favorite features is the ability to save recordings of special moments. Watching him wake up in the morning with his adorable swaddle stretches and newborn scrunches never gets old. Being able to capture and save those memories—and share them with family—has been incredibly special. I truly can’t recommend this monitor enough. It has given me both convenience and peace of mind during a busy season of life. I received this Nanit through the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

amazing I love it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a parent, the Nanit Smart Baby Monitor System has been one of the most helpful baby products we've used. It has given me peace of mind while also helping me stay connected to my little one, whether I'm in another room of the house or away from home. I received the product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel The setup process was quick and straightforward, and I appreciated how easy it was to get everything connected through the app. The video quality is excellent, and I love being able to check in on my baby anytime from my phone. The real-time notifications have been especially helpful, alerting me when my baby wakes up or needs attention without having to constantly watch the monitor. One of my favorite features is the sleep dashboard. It provides helpful insights into my baby's sleep patterns and has made it easier to understand routines and make adjustments when needed. I also use the feeding and diaper log regularly, which keeps everything organized in one place and makes it simple to track daily activities. The two-way audio feature has been great for soothing my baby without immediately entering the room, and the breathing motion monitoring gives an extra layer of reassurance during sleep. As a parent, those little moments of peace of mind are invaluable. I also love being able to share access with family members and caregivers. It helps everyone stay informed and connected, especially when grandparents are helping out or want to check in on their grandchild. Overall, the Nanit Smart Baby Monitor System has made me feel more confident in my day-to-day parenting. Between the sleep insights, activity tracking, and reliable monitoring, it has become an essential part of our daily routine. I would absolutely recommend it to other parents looking for a smart, easy-to-use baby monitor that offers both convenience and peace of mind.

The perfect monitor system for renters
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently welcomed our second child who is almost 4 months now. I’d wanted to try the Nanit our first child who is now 4, but we ended up going a different route, so I was excited when I got the opportunity to test this thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Life as the parent of a newborn can be intense. We found it, especially challenging having a winter baby as our second baby, because we were worried all the time about him catching a cold and getting sick much earlier than we experienced the first time around. Having a system that monitors your babies breathing, especially in those early months—I can’t overstate how much value and reassurance that adds to your life. Nana offers this with its breathing band and camera system, and it’s just amazing to be able to let your baby sleep confidently even when they’ve got a little bit of a cold. We found a set up of the camera, a little bit challenging, but I think for certain use cases, the challenge we found actually would be a huge benefit. We’re homeowners so we could have put a baby camera installed directly on the wall wherever we want. If you’re renter, however, and you’re not able to drill into the wall, I think the Nanit is absolutely the right monitor for you. It came with a stand that is extremely sturdy and well-made, and they’ve constructed it even so that you’re not gonna have a loose cord; built into the stand is a cord protection system, so that when your baby is crawling, you don’t need to worry about protecting them from a strangulation hazard. I’ve never seen anything quite like it before and I think it would be incredible for people who are not able to customize in the way that you can if you own your home. It’s not the most intuitive setup, but once you get it done, you’re not going to have to do it again, and you’re not going to worry about safety. We found the breathing band easy to use with our child’s bassinet. It’s spring time here so we were comfortable putting the baby in just pajamas, but I’m not sure how I would’ve handled the breathing band in the winter, when the baby really needs a sleep sack (Nanit might make those; I’m not sure, I wasn’t sent one to test). One note: if you use a Snoo, this will not work with the Snoo sack. That said, if you got the Nanit just for the camera function, it’s going to way outlast the life of the Snoo, which maxes out around six months. We got to try both the monitor screen as well as the phone-as-monitor functionality, which the monitors we’ve used for years don’t offer. It’s really convenient to be able to do a quick check on your phone. The monitor screen is quite, large bigger than my 6 inch Kindle for reference, but if you can use your phone while you move around the house and leave a large monitor screen plugged in maybe in the kitchen, that may not matter. I would’ve liked to be able to pop the monitor screen into my pocket, but again, you can really just use your phone. Overall, I was really impressed with the Nanit system. This is a very high high-quality baby monitor system, and you may feel you outgrow the breathing band camera functionality at some point, but you will have a monitor for many years, and it’s worth getting one that you like and offers the functionality that you need. The Nanit will have a home in my new babies, nursery for the next few years for sure.

Connection issues
I’m pretty disappointed in the monitor. Probably 1/3 of the time the monitor will have lost connection and I don’t know that it’s not monitoring my child then I go to wake up the monitor and it says not connected to WiFi then instantly connects after I wake it up and meanwhile my child has been awake for 30 min and I couldn’t hear him because it wasn’t connected but I didn't know until I checked it. Just feels like I have to use my phone just incase the monitor disconnects so what’s the point of even having the monitor.

Honest review
We absolutely love our Nanit baby monitor and would highly recommend it to other parents. The video quality is excellent, the app is easy to use, and the sleep insights have been incredibly helpful. It gives us great peace of mind, especially with a toddler and newborn in the house. The only reason I'm not giving it a perfect score is that the camera frequently displays a "reconnecting to Wi-Fi" message, even when it is already connected and our Wi-Fi signal is strong. The connection doesn't usually drop, but the repeated notifications can be frustrating and sometimes make us question whether the monitor is working properly. Overall, it's still the best baby monitor we've used, and the features far outweigh this one annoyance. If Nanit could improve the connectivity notifications, it would be a 5-star product for us.

Worthless without subscription
The fact that it only shows you live footage without subscription is wild. There are way more affordable live footage cameras out there. Unless you’re anxious worried about your kids breathing is not worth it.

Great except for the display
We love most of the product, but the 8” display is TERRIBLE! We had to return it and buy a tablet instead because for slightly more money, it does a much better job as a secondary monitor device and of course does so much more than just that. The display battery life is maybe 2 hours max, so it’s worthless if you’re constantly having to charge it. It also was constantly requiring update and taking forever to turn on, which is never convenient when you need it to check on your sleeping baby. It also never seamlessly connected to our internet and had a shorter range than the tablet does. The monitor is great and so is the breathing band though. Just save your money and skip the display.

A Smart, Reliable Baby Monitor Worth Every Penny
The Nanit baby monitor has completely transformed how we keep an eye on our little one. From the moment we set it up, the experience has been smooth, intuitive, and reassuring. Setup took less than 10 minutes — just mount the camera, download the app, and connect to Wi-Fi. The camera itself has a clean, modern look that doesn't feel out of place in a nursery. The 1080p HD video is crystal clear, even in complete darkness thanks to the excellent night vision. We can see every tiny movement without any grainy or lagging footage. Two-way audio works great — we can hear the softest sounds and talk to our baby directly through the app. The Nanit app also serves as our go-to tool for tracking our baby's daily routine, from feeding sessions to diaper changes and potty activity. The Nanit app is one of the best we've used. It's clean, responsive, and sends real-time alerts when the baby wakes. You can also share access with a partner which is super convenient. As new parents we are loving it!!
