Changed the formula! I bought this religiously for years and now it leaves my hair greasy immediately upon blow drying! I literally had to rewash my hair. It’s disgusting!! So upset

Been using this for YEARS. Literal years. But since the formula change, I need to find a new brand. Before, I could go a month with this shampoo before using a clarifying. Now? I have to use a clarifying every other day to get the residue off my hair. The formula change has left a heavy, thick film on my hair after every use since the change. I’m disappointed I have to hunt for a new shampoo again.

I hate to give such a negative review, as I've been using shea moisture for a few years now. The new recipe strips my hair of moisture and makes it look dry and flat. It no longer helps with my hair texture, which is hard enough to find products for to begin with. The thicker blend for the previous formula, along with the natural ingredients that have now been removed were a far better choice. Now the feel is generic and unhelpful for curlier hair, the reduction in non chemical ingredients is extremely apparent. The only upside was the lather improvement, but it isn't really worth it given that it's basically a different product at this point. I really hope shea moisture takes feedback into consideration since a lot of people have needed to switch hair products entirely due to the many recipe changes made recently. It is not just for the daily hydration ones.

I have never had an issue aswith this ine... Left my hair like heavy and hard to get my fingers through weird... because my hair is always soft and never tangles... Super weird! I've used a lot of coconut products because I love the smell but this one was not for me! I had to wash my hair twice with baby shampoo to get rid of the texture that the shampoo left on my hair.

I tried to use this a handful of times. Each time, I had to get back in the shower to get the sticky shampoo residue off my hair. It was disgusting and I've never used a worse shampoo

I have been using this Shea Moisture on my daughter's hair and mine for weeks now. I love the way it leaves our hair feeling and smelling! We have really thick curly hair so its always hard finding a product that actually cleanse and nourish our hair but this one gers the job done! It doesnt leave my hair feeling brittle or dry. After a nice wash with this Shea Moisture shampoo, I feel so refreshed! Im definitely a fan of Shea Moisture products amd always will be!

This shampoo is amazing! It gives a great start to styling. It hydrates your hair and feels refreshed after every wash. It snells like Summer in a bottle!!! I wish the bottles were bigger as I go through a lot of it!!! Highly recommend!!

This is a super nice shampoo. If you like a lot of bubbles when you lather I’d highly recommend it. I think the scent is nice it has a gentle coconut hunt but doesn’t seem too sweet or overwhelming. The product feels nice & works well. I love that it is a fair trade & family founded product.

This shampoo is simply amazing! It has transformed my dry and brittle hair! It’s left it soft and smooth. It smells great and allows me to go without washing my hair for a couple of days. I would highly recommend.

I'll be honest, maybe this shampoo isn't made for me but I tried this, it clean a bit but when my hair dried, it looked greasy. This shampoo is for people who want a buttery shampoo wash, not one that cleanses your hair well. I'll give Shea Moisture props for using high quality ingredients and bringing value to their products though.

So I have not purchased yet, I am on vacation and they had two shampoos and conditioners. I started using the one I was familiar with and it left my scalp so itchy, so I switched to the sheamoisture 100% virgin coconut oil shampoo and conditioner and my scalp immediately stopped itching and my hair felt amazing! I have continued to use it and when I get home later this week I am going out to buy some! It smells so amazing like the gardenias and plumeria where I am visiting!

I used the shampoo and conditioner. There was the exact same amount of lather one would get with conditioner - none. I wondered if the shampoo bottle was actually conditioner but, the conditioner looks a littler thicker than the shampoo, so, most likely not. So, no lather, which made the hair wash feel off. I did not continue using the product, so more uses may have helped my hair.

I am so disappointed! I was so excited to try this shampoo and conditioner set because I've been trying to do better with my hair routine. But it was a huge disappointment. It left my hair feeling much dirtier than before the wash, and so heavy! My hair felt cleaner with me just washing with body soap than with this shampoo. The conditioner just added to the issue. So so disappointed.

I am not kidding this is the worst shampoo I have ever tried in my life you are better off washing your hair with any other shampoo or even a lemon. Like this is TERRIBLE. It did not clean my hair well and the immense amount of residue left on my hair left it feeling like straw to the point where I could barely run my fingers through it.
