Stops connecting
The camera constantly and consistently stops connecting to the monitor and we have to go in the nursery every single day to unplug it from the wall and the camera to reset it, plug it back in and power on and off the monitor. We had an older version that our son threw in the toilet that we never had any issues with. I hate this thing but I got rid of the package so I’m stuck with it.

Still works but lost key functionality
11 months later and sure it still functions and has an impressive battery life, but a couple key things have broke! LCD off function broke so screen stays on all the time. Have to keep it face down for avoid the seeing the lighted screen when we sleep. Another key feature that broke is the temperature/thermometer. It says [blank] degrees F now. Would be important to know if temp of room is okay so how we just have to hope. Lightweight and would be a good travel baby monitor but has unfortunately faltered as our main monitor for our older toddler.

Temp Stopped Working
My husband bought it because the thermometer on our old monitor stopped working and he wanted to be able to know the temperature. Less than a week after using it stopped displaying them temp. Otherwise it’s fine except it’s super small. Would be good for travel but I’m glad we have a bigger one also.

Sound wuality sucks
Video quality is good, but the sound is awful. You literally can’t hear if baby is making a noise.

Worked great for a year. This monitor is starting to have battery issues and will only work if it’s plugged into the wall. The moment you unplug it, it starts beeping very loudly.

I saw this one on target's website, clicked on it, I was a member so it was easy to purchase it & have it delivered, since I just had foot surgery & was home bound.

Good audio, bad camera
This monitor is good for the price, but the camera quality stinks. The picture is grainy at night unless you are up close, hut you cannot move the camera if your child is moving around in the crib. If you do not care about clear image then this would be a good option because the audio and all other features are good!

Poor product
Video quality was highly poor, it was unclear and there was a halo image in the room. Sound was really bad I could barely make sound of my baby crying. The lullaby sound worked when I first set up the device and stopped working after I turned it off and tried to turn it back on, all on the first day of set up. I returned it the same day I set it up.

Purchased this in April 2023 as a second monitor (for travel use). As other reviewers have said, just after a year it just stopped working one night.. while we were away on vacation to make matters worse. It kept giving me a linking error. I tried all the resets and called vtech for customer support, but they just said after trying all the resets there was nothing they could do to help other than give me a 15% off discount on another monitor since it was two months over the one year warranty period. Why would anyone order another monitor after this one breaks after just over a year of owning it? If you’re looking for an affordable, but decent monitor you can find better on Amazon. Don’t waste your money on this.

If you waif you want to waste your money, buy this product
Purchased this March 15,2024. It was great and suddenly it just stopped working. First the sound indicator stoped, then it would take forever to charge and now it struggles to stay “linked” and when you look up how to troubleshoot it just says the monitor is too far from the “parent piece” but it’s been in the same spot since we purchased it. Don’t buy it. I’ll be returning and purchasing something if better quality asap.

Bright POWER LED light doesn't turn off, ever.
It does the job for the price. The only thing that will make me invest in a different monitor is the POWER LED light on the baby monitor camera. It’s green and bright. If my baby wakes, that’s the first thing that catches his eye and then he refuses to go back to sleep. We keep it pitch black in his room so it really messes up the whole point of us keeping the room dark. I wish there was a way to turn this off.
