Poor quality
I am dumbfounded how there are any good reviews on this product. The black rubber came off in pieces after several uses. Horrible product. Totally senseless to put rubber on a mixer blade.

Nice concept but don't recommend
I received this mixer as a Christmas gift last year. I was just mixing a batch of banana bread and noticed a piece of rubber in my mix. Looked at the beaters and sure enough it is coming off. I noticed on the beaters there is more that has come off at some point. This scares me because I do a lot of baking and who knows when the other pieces fell off. I don't have a dishwasher so I wash by hand. Nice concept but switching to metal beaters. I don't recommend.

Coating Peels Off
Bought these with my new hand mixer about a year ago and just noticed the silicone was peeling off after going through the dishwasher. I thought these were dishwasher safe?

They bump and grind
These beaters seem miss-aligned for our KHM512 hand mixer. The beaters touch each other when inserted and bump against each other when the mixer is on causing a lot of vibration and grinding. We only used them once because we're afraid they will break our mixer. This doesn't happen with the normal wire beaters that came with the mixer. Loved them until black coating started coming off
I got these for Christmas (2022) and I loved them and raved about them to friends and family. Then about two weeks ago, I noticed a piece of the black coating had come off in the buttercream icing I was mixing. I peeled it off and thought no big deal. But then it did it again last night. And because the icing was chocolate, there was no way I'd find the pieces so I couldn't use the icing I made. I'm going to try to peel the coating off so I can keep using them since they are only a couple months old. Has anyone else had this issue?

Loved till broke
I really like these beaters! They scrape the bowl and blend well. However, it has been a year and a half and the silicone cover on one of my beaters just split. I use them maybe 2-3 times a month.

Beats up the mixing bowls less and is a more quiet tool in the kitchen! The build on these is also far better and beefier. They are very stiff and mix more efficiently than the beaters that came with my hand mixer. A worthy upgrade or replacement!

Fast, quiet mixing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like these silicone tipped mixers. Aside from their sleek look, I find that they speed up my mixing time substantially and make it easy to clean the side of the bowl while doing so. They are also much quieter than the metal mixers I have. With the silicone, I don’t have to worry about scratching up any of my dishes either. They can be slightly more difficult to clean, but I think they are worth it. I would definitely recommend these mixers to anyone with a kitchen aid hand mixer.

I love my flex edge paddle for my stand mixer, so I was super excited to see them finally available as a hand mixer version. They work hard and do exactly what you’d expect. I get a cleaner, smoother mix, with less spray on the sides. I don’t have to use a spatula to scrape the sides anymore, and that makes me so happy. Grab these for your utensil drawer, especially if you do a lot of mixing.

These surprised me!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn’t expecting these flex edge beaters to be as successful as they were. First off they really quiet the entire process down. You couldn’t hear the metal clanking against the bowl which is really great if you for kiddos napping. Secondly, they scrape along the sides and bottoms so you don’t have to keep stopping and scrapping with a spatula. It helps too when you don’t want to over beat the mix and it’s doing two jobs for you. These will definitely become my number one beaters for all my baking needs. I plan on ordering my mom and sister a pair for Christmas!

Gets the job done

They're a nice upgrade from the regular metal beaters that came with my mixer. NOTE: These are metal, but have a rubber coating on them.

I like the rubber end to it so it can scrape the batter from the edges of the bowl when mixing without it scratching or making loud noises compared to my old one.

It also genuinely makes it so my stainless steel bowls aren’t being hit with metal on metal, which admittedly makes me happy to eliminate the amount of scratching that occurs on my nice bowls. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Feels very sturdy and the assembly is standard. I’ve used these in both aluminum and glass mixing bowls. Compared to my metal beaters I noticed that these rubber beaters weren’t as noisy. It also does not splatter much and I did not need to scrap down batter as frequently. Because of the rubber it takes a little longer to clean. Overall I was very impressed with these and will be using them instead of my metal ones from now on.
