Both ny husband and I sampled the product and agreed it helped to comfort our sore aches and pains. I mainly used it on my knee, while he used it on his legs after running. It has a pleasant minty smell and a nice refreshing tingly cool feeling that helps relieve stiff muscles and joints. It is not greasy...which is nice! We will be buying this again in the future.

I love the cooling sensation. After I apply it I let it dry before I put my pajamas on. My husband also uses it for his carpal tunnel to provide relief.

I am a medical professional and have heard good things about biofreeze, but I have never used it myself. I used it in the evening and I am really impressed. I have had a sore shoulder from sleeping in a poor position. I’m not sure if I’m having muscle or nerve pain, but I assume it’s muscle pain. I used this biofreeze all over my shoulder area. It does have a menthol-like smell, but for being close to my face it wasn’t too strong. I did feel a slight cool burning sensation, but it didn’t hurt. The biofreeze definitely helped!! I realized my soreness/discomfort was diminishing and also that other sore/irritated areas around my upper body were standing out now that my shoulder was feeling better. I started to apply it to the other bothersome areas too. It definitely helped and I definitely recommend it.

My only issue is it’s listed to have a calming lavender scent since this is for overnight use but it did not have much fragrance.

It is pretty strong, but I feel that's necessary for the product to provide relief. I've been using it on my neck at night, and it's definitely helps my stiff muscles. I would say this is good for minor aches and pains. For those times when my pain is heavier, I'll use this along with taking an ibuprofen, and that combo seems to do the trick.

This one does have a much better scent than most but it isn't quite as strong as the regular bio freeze. It does work pretty well though of you use a little more than the normal amount. Bio freeze is one of the best pain creams you can buy OTC.

I had my body at all sorts of odd angles to try and lessen the pain and my back took the brunt of it. I put this on before bed and I did wake up feeling a bit looser and more relaxed. The gel doesn't necessarily rub in and sits on top of the skin so you don't need a ton. One nice thing is the burning menthol feeling seems to be less with the gel. Definitely a great product to have on hand for sore muscles.
