It has motion detection and alerts you if you want that. The things I didn’t like was I couldn’t figure out how to rotate camera on app. I had to manually move it. Also If you want to share the feed with someone else you have to pay for their premium service. We are using it in our front room it would be nice for my husband to be able to access it when he is home with the kids and is in another room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Today, I tested out Chillaxbaby Smart 2K Quad-HD Wi-Fi Pan-Tilt-Zoom Baby Camera. Downloading the app was quick and easy. Setup was going smoothly until I had issues with the reset hole. Make sure you poke the right spot! I was poking the screw ( smh ). Also, let the camera do its dance before finally sitting still after you plug it in. I had issues connecting to my wifi, which may or may not have been product related, but after a few days, I was successful. Picture quality is pretty good for a monitor. Images are clear and bright. To pan view, turn phone horizontal and use arrows. Ahhh, how cute! When I left the app and back, a little fun baby fact popped up for a few seconds. Be quick to read! If you have multiple cameras, a button toggles between. There are so many great settings to customize to your preferences and an easy customer support chat button! 7 different diary entry categories with calendar and analysis! You have 3 music options to pick. I listened to the Calming Undersea. After I woke up, I was able to record a 9-second video by pressing and holding the camera icon. Just a tap for photos. I can re watch 9 second videos. I feel this is best if your focus is on listening to baby, checking in to view in app, having still images captured each movement event with ability to view in album and track baby growth and care.

The speed and the band are correct, my other devices like smart thermostat and doorbell connect with no problem but for some reason the camera doesn’t connect. So I was unable to properly test it. But it is a nice quality camera, the instructions are very clear and the app very intuitive. I am a little disappointed that I was not able to use it.

Also, you can communicate two ways, and it gives you notification most of the time since it has motion sensors and even sounds. I easily installed it easily without any struggle to bother my husband to assist me in operating it. You just have to scan the barcode and then download the app. It will show you steps to step on how to connect it to your router. It also pan 355 ° tilt 180° movement, which is great. If you don't want it to send you notification all the time, just go to the app and adjust the settings.
