Q: Do you sign up for the subscription after you buy the brush. Is it sent to you from and target and charged to your target or how does that all work.

A: The subscription is through quip not Target and you can sign up via quip's website. The refill plans are fully automated to generate an order every 3 months after your initial order date.

A: Our standard quip Sonic Toothbrushes are powered by a AAA battery that can be swapped out every 3 months with your Brush Head. We do offer Rechargeable Sonic Toothbrushes, however, and if you opt for one of those, a Magnetic Charging Cable will be included with your purchase.

A: We're sorry to hear that you're having trouble. You can remove your brush head by gripping the head and handle in opposite hands, bristles facing away from you. Place your thumb on the dots, then gently pull the head off in a slight arc motion (don’t snap it directly backwards). If you're still having trouble, get in touch at www.getquip.com/pages/faq

A: The quip Kids Electric Toothbrush contains a Small Brush Head and a rubber handle for easier grip, so this may be a good option for you. However, our Brush Heads are compatible with all handles we offer, so you can use a Small Brush Head on any of our Standard Electric Toothbrush options if preferred.

Dont buy it.
I cannot remember what review I read which encouraged me to buy this item. I should have researched further. All this is, is a manual toothbrush with a timer. I dont see any benefit of it. Waste of my money.

Not great
After trying quip for 4 years now I decided to upgrade for another toothbrush since the one I used to have the plastic version for all this time. I got the pride one with the metallic finish and its been only a few months and it’s starting to rust somehow and loosing the color. Honestly Im a bit disappointed.

I bought this toothbrush many years ago, as my Mom owns one, and suggested I buy MYSELF one! So I did, and I've been very happy with the results I've seen! I submitted this review, then went back and read OTHER peoples' reviews, and realized that I'd left out a few important features that I appreciated, namely: -The double duty cover/mirror mount, -The automatic refill with a battery and new head, -The conveniently placed power button, -The comfortable handle, and brush head for my teeth, and -The 2-minute timer with 30-sec. interval reminders for each quadrant... I really loved using this toothbrush, but I've chosen to upgrade to the newer Ultra model, as it seems to have more features than my current one (more than on or off, in other words... :-) ) Though my current toothbrush HAS served me well over the last few years that I've owned it, it has fallen the wayside behind a newer, fancier toothbrush, by the SAME company, even! quip makes quality brushes, no doubt in my mind!

Only giving four stars because the directions on how to change the battery are not easy to find and are somewhat not super clear. Do I have to buy a new head with a battery every time I need to replace it or just replace the battery? Wish it was easier to find and understand. Aside from that, I’m really happy with my purchase. Great travel toothbrush for me. Doesn’t irritate my guns like other travel brushes have in the past. Vibration is subtle.

This product has become too expensive for its quality. I also just received a damaged head that looked like it could have been used, and that was really the end for me. Hopefully, it gets better and I'll try again in the future.

I love these toothbrushes, but they just don't last. I think I have bought about 4 of them is the last couple of years. The first one would snap in two when applying any pressure. The next two wouldn't power up after a while, even after changing the brush and battery way ahead of schedule. And thats the same problem I have with my current brush.

Waste of money
Push button is Very difficult to turn on and off. I had to dig in with my fingernail to get it to work. I suspect this will end up causing the rubber to tear quickly. There is just a mild vibration. I changed the battery, but that didn't make a difference. Does not compare with my other electric brush. I'll just use it as a very expensive regular toothbrush until the bristles wear out.

Had bought one just like this one "Years ago." Excellent product, at a fair price, and very quality materials. Nice colors. I highly recommend this product to others. Suppose to clean your teeth much better than standard brushing.

Mine stopped working in less than a month. Changed the battery and the motor still does not work. Piece of crap. Not spending any money on this again.

I like these brushes but they are terrible quality
I guess you get what you pay for at this price point. Over the last couple of years I have purchased two separte Quip brushes and within about a year or so they both stopped working. Even with new batteries, the motor just quit on both of them. I won't be buying a third one.

Wonderful Toothbrush with Caveat
This is my second Quip, the first one served me well for many years and is still working. I just wanted an extra one and got a new (to me) color. The toothbrush now comes preloaded with a battery and with the head installed, making it ready to go, straight out of the package. These are awesome brushes, well designed, and they do a wonderful job. The subtle vibrating cues to switch sections of the mouth and reminder to clean your tongue are great for those of us who don't want to set a timer every time we brush while only half awake. My only caveat with this review is that I believe the base set should come with one extra brush head. I came down with COVID just a week after getting my new Quip, so now need to wait three months for the scheduled replacement. I wish I already had one back-up for just such an emergency, when throwing out the old one is medically advised to prevent re-infection.

Mouthwash Leak
I have been using the Quip system for several years. I had a problem with the old brush I was using and ordered a new one, along with a bottle of mouthwash.. When it came, the mouthwash had leaked all over the package. When I tried to contact the company it took several tries through an AI response tree before I reached a human, but when I finally did, I received not only a new bottle of mouthwash but a new toothbrush, and they let me keep the old onesLeak. AI can be madding, but keep trying!

Good toothbrush that cracked
Original Quip toothbrush cracked and would stop vibrating. I had to held the on button down to get it to vibrate. I like the toothbrush so I bought a new one. This time with a metal handle instead of a plastic one. I also like getting the automatic new brush and battery renewal every quarter.

first use and i was IN LOVE!! it’s gentle enough that it doesn’t make my gums feel awful after but strong enough that it makes my teeth feel CLEAN!! highly recommend this for anyone who struggles with the vibration sounds or the feel of the vibration!!
