Description
Attract and kill the ants you see and the ones you don’t with TERRO Liquid Ant Baits. The liquid, which contains borax, is specifically designed to allow worker ants to consume the product, and survive long enough to carry the liquid back to the nest. Ants consume the liquid ant bait and return to the nest where they pass it around to the rest of the colony. The active ingredient in the bait slowly interferes with the ants’ digestive systems, ultimately killing them.
Since this is a bait product, you will initially see more ants as they are attracted to the liquid – but don’t worry, this is a good thing. After the bait is consumed, insect populations will begin to decline. Complete control may take up to two weeks.
For your convenience, TERRO Liquid Ant Baits are easy to use and feature a new and improved snap-off tab design – no scissors needed! To open the bait, hold the station vertically and twist the new and improved tab. Then place indoors on a flat surface near ant trails and other signs of ant activity. The more bait placements, the better. Be sure to leave the ant baits undisturbed while the ants are actively feeding on it.

Q: How long are the bait traps effective?

A: The effectiveness of the bait does not diminish over time. As long as it is still in liquid form, it can be used to eliminate the ants. While the product does not have an expiration date, we recommend replacing it if it is over two years old.

I had an infestation in February, used two gel packs. That ended, and I placed two more in the same corner. Its June and I arrived hime from vacation, the traps were attacked.

A: This product can be used on any indoor flat surface (as long as it is kept away from food prep areas). We recommend keeping the product close to where ant activity has been noticed.

A: The bait station will continue working as long as there is still liquid in it. This will depend on how many ants visit.

We’re sorry the TERRO® 6pk Liquid Ant Baits haven’t worked after a week. It can take several days for ants to carry enough bait back to the colony to eliminate it fully. If activity continues, replace the baits near the most active trails and avoid disturbing the ants while they feed. Persistent infestations may require additional placements to reach all colonies.

Tackles them quickly - Use foil and spread a bit
Works great! Save yourself clean up and place on foil. Usually you have to pick a spot where you can intercept them - usually within 12 hours they wind down. I place on foil then drain some out so more ants can eat at once. I usually keep these on hand for when ants randomly come in. They found a dead spider and water from a plant. No food so these guys are getting desperate from the heat in LA.

These traps works very well. The tabs are hard to snap off, be careful not to spill the bait. However, they are very effective at getting rid of ants. At first, it will attract hundreds of ants but be patient. In a day or so, they will all be gone. I recommend leaving the traps out for a couple of weeks after the ants are gone since there's sometimes a second generation of ants that appear.
