Disappointed
The item is beautiful and seems like a terrific upgrade from my single serve Cuisinart grinder. Huge mistake on the upgrade. You load the upper basket with coffee beans, normal store bought beans. You’d think it would just keep loading and grinding…..NOPE…. It spins and spins and somehow no beans drop into the grinder mechanism. Loud as a jet engine, but no grounded coffee. You can shake it you can almost turn it upside down still no grinding brand new right out of the you think box…. So frustrating and give it all the Cuisinart products I have in my home. I’m shocked with the poor quality.

Coffee Griinder
I am satisfied with the grinding of the coffee. However, it stays on without grinding coffee often and I have to turn it off, shake the beans and do it again. :(

Supreme Disappointment Grind Automatic Burr Mill
I wish I could rate the Supreme Grind Automatic Burr Mill a five star rating because I really loved this unit …. BUT you see I said LOVED! I love my coffee and after trying various burr grinders, found the Supreme Grind Automatic Burr Mill best. I would like to share my Cuisinart story with you. I am (as well as my family) are long time “Cuisinart” brand loyal customers, toasters, coffee makers, coffee grinders, panini press makers, food processors, hand held wands, mini choppers, pots, pans, mixers, blenders, and the list goes on and on. Long time loyalty to Cuisinart. The most recent unit I have started having issues like previous units so I mentioned it to my family members and learned within our family we have owned and/or purchased about 9-10-11 units, even bought these as gifts for other friends and family members because we loved the product so much. Even with the proper usage, cleaning, and care of this unit….each one ending up with the same symptoms, same problem, same outcome- NOT WORKING. As I was complaining about my current Supreme Grind Automatic Burr Mill not working….this is when we realized what was happening. I asked, if it could be a fluke that all these units are the same?!?!?! It’s just a flaw with this unit. No matter what it is…..most bothersome of it all is that my mom, 87 years old had 5 units in her garage placed back in original packaging because each time one stopped working she thought maybe someone could fix it, she placed it back in the box and put it out in her garage. Then she purchased a new one replacing the broken. I would like to share some information with you regarding our mom, she has pancreatic cancer and dealing with this illness has prompted me to reach out directly to Cuisinart. I started assisting my mom in her garage and saw these boxed units, when she said they had something wrong and were broken…I was blown away seeing these units like a mini Wearhouse. I threw all of these away and as time passed I kept thinking about it I was more disappointed and frustrated. I was going to replace my mom’s coffee grinder to bring a smile to her face but after learning how many she and our family has had issues with…I wish we would have figured out all of these issues with this product years ago. As I was looking to purchase a new one I asked why and stated looking for a different brand but still feeling disappointed and frustrated returned to your website to submit this review. Sad this product has such great potential but yet consistent problems and issues that Cuisinart hasn’t improved something figured out how to solve the problems this unit has. I know nothing lasts forever and I do respect the Cuisinart brand but this one product has been disappointing. Just wanted to share my story.

Cuisanart Burr Grinder
This was a purchase to replace our previous Cuisanart burr grinder which finally gave out after approximately 8 years of almost daily use. We were satisfied with the grind quality, capacity and durability of this model so we thought we would play it safe by replacing with the same model. The only complaint we have with the grinder would be the noise level during use.

Not Great!
I had high hopes but was sorely disappointed. First, the coffee receptacle has a ton of static so when you try to empty it, it just flys everywhere. Everywhere except where you want it to go. So there’s a huge mess every time you open it. Second, the very second time I used the machine it wouldn’t feed the beans, so I shove it a little to see if it would bring them down and it wouldn’t, so I had to take the whole thing apart to clear it and clean it and then put it back together to get it to work. Needless to say, I boxed it back up and sent it back.

You get what you pay for
Loud -- very loud. Lots of fine powder included with all grind settings. Would not buy again.

Cuisinart Supreme Grind lives up to its name
This coffee grinder works great! There is a lot of static, to be expected - I use a small blower to clean it up, no problem. It runs until the amount of grounds I select is completed, no holding down the power button. It is very attractive. So far my only complaint is that it is loud. However, it is not as loud as others I have used. Overall, I would definitely recommend and would 100% buy it again.

I have had several grinders over the years but when I bought my first Cuisinart burr grinder I was very pleased. After using it for several years, almost daily, it finally died. I immediately purchased another and I’m as satisfied as I was before.

So disappointing. Had to return it.
I was so excited to use this with my new espresso machine. This seemed like a reasonably priced great option. I got it home and set it to fine for espresso. Even after running the beans through 3 times the grounds were still very course and impossible to tamp down.

Yeah, it's pretty...but it's messy!
I purchased the Supreme Grind Automatic Burr Mill for two reasons: 1) I liked the large hopper so I didn't have to pour/measure beans every day and, 2) It's aesthetically pleasing. I am a fan of the Cuisinart brand and have most kitchen items (including cookware) from the brand so this was a natural choice. Sadly, we have been largely disappointed with it. It is quite possibly the messiest grinder I have ever owned. When you pull the container with the grinds out to pour into the filter, the shape does not allow for clean pouring - the grounds go everywhere. Our other grinders have circular housings for the grinds and they pour neatly into the filter while the filter is in the coffee maker. With the Cuisinart, we now have to hold the filter over the sink and dump the grinds in to avoid getting them on the inside of the coffee maker and all over the counter. I gave it two stars for the hopper and appearance. I don't really recommend.

Replacement

Disappointing, with no real fine grind ability
This Cuisinart grinder doesn’t grinds fine enough in the finest setting for pour-over coffee. Also, the rubber feet are flimsy and break off easily. Definitely a disappointment with no solution.

Worthless for a french press
If you're buying this to grind coarse coffee for a french press, do not do it! It gives nothing but powdery mixture that is nothing but mud in a cup. You can try to strain it through a strainer and catch some of the ground beans that are bigger but you waste so much money and coffee. It's horrible. On the highest city, it does not grind coarse enough for a French press worthless. And sooo much static.
