Q: No one's going to take this out of the window ev. time they leave home, so it'll be exposed to rain--storms arise w-o warning. Why have u made a WINDOW fan that can't handle being splashed a little?

Not very strong window fan
This window fan is okay, but not very strong. If you live somewhere hot, you'll need a fan that can move more air.

I really hate this thing
So I didn't listen to the reviews, and hoped I'd get lucky. I did not. I'm ready to throw this piece of garbage out the window. It has hardly any power at all... even on high speed, it couldn't blow out a candle right in front of it. And it makes this horrible clicking/rattling sound nonstop. I've tried everything to figure it out, but have come to the conclusion that the reason is that IT IS A CHEAP PIECE OF JUNK. Seriously, people. Save your money. Do not waste it on this.

A rare find
Finally a product that exceeds expectations and is worth the money spent. This fan fits in my window perfectly with the side extenders on high it’s the perfect amount of background noise to drown out the outdoors. Good amount of airflow for my upstairs, Gameroom, and helping air to circulate throughout the second floor, I would definitely recommend.

I bought this new, plugged it in and literally 10 minutes later one of the fans stopped working. Returned!

Perfect little fan!
Honestly I love this thing. I just wanted a cheap fan to throw in the window to help air flow in my room and this thing is awesome. My room feels so fresh. It’s quiet. It fits perfectly in my window. I love how you can flip it if you wanna push air out of your room or pull air from outside into your room. I used the air out option when I was cleaning and dusting then easily flipped it back to pull the cool air in. Idk why there’s so many bad reviews

Pro-tip time to get the most from your $30 fan
For stabilization use the included feet that are in the box, there's two of them. they slide and click into place. This makes them usable for not only windows but as a supplemental box fan in a hallway to move air conditioned/heated air to other parts of the home. That gets rid of the rattling. I can feel the fan at the end of the hall - 25 feet away one 2nd setting. if you have a slider (vertical casement) window you'll have to place the fan on it's narrow end for maximum air efficiency, placing it horizontally will defeat your purpose. Lastly, don't expect an Arctic blast from a fan, it just moves the surrounding air. If it's 80 degrees outside, that fan will send in 80 degree air.

Okay but not good enough to keep
This is an okay fan...if you're expecting turbo blast this is not it. Like other reviews stated, this only has two levels and even on the second level it is not the strongest. Unfortunately, I will be returning.

Not worth the price!
These fans are insanely weak. There’s two settings and even on the highest one, you can barely feel the air. Totally not worth the money.

2nd One Also Stopped Workin
I had this style of fan for a while, can't remember if the first one was Holmes or another brand. That first one had issues with one blade not working and then the other one making a terrible noise so I eventually had to replace it. I got a Holmes and it stopped working randomly pretty early on. The Holmes customer service was great and replaced it but now after a year or so the replacement stopped working randomly as well. It lasted a lot longer than the first one but there's definitely some fatal flaw in the wiring or something. They are the most affordable for this style so I'm tempted to get another but I feel like I'm filling up the landfills with all these broken fans!!

A waste of money
Totally useless. You can barely feel the air moving when it's on high. Had them less than an hour and they're going back.

Dont get if youre expecting a strong fan
The fan is incredibly weak, even at its High. It didn’t fit my window as the fan is too think on the sides to flush in. Needed to use tape to hold it in place. Their previous dual fan was smaller and most stronger, not sure why this latest one is built poorly.

Not really reversible
I purchased this for a pick up order, based on the description saying reversible. It is not. If you take it out of the window and turn it around, yes it's reversible. I previously had one that had the fans reverse with the flip of a switch and this is not that.
