PATTERN Bounce Back Pre-Poo Shampoo - 10oz - Ulta Beauty

I initially tried this 2 months after getting a Keratin treatment when my hair wasnt boucing back the way I wanted. I sectioned the hair and completely saturated it in the product, and had pretty satisfactory results! The 2nd time I left it in a bit longer than what the bottle reccomended & it turned out even better. It is kinda watery as other reviews have stated, but it just take some getting used to while distributing it. I have used it now that my hair is more "regular" and i still like the results. I do use a little more than half a bottle each time, but my hair is very porous so it might be different depending on length & hair type. I do wish it was cheaper given how fast I go through it. I would definitely keep this in my hair rotation consistently if it were more affordable.

I have super coily hair and silk press season just ended. I used this pre-poo once and bam, my curls were back honey! I high recommend drenching your (dry) hair in this and covering with a shower cap.

This leaves my hair so soft and manageable. After the first time I tried it, I couldn’t get over how soft and curly my hair felt. Great prep for washing your hair,

I was interested in trying the pre-poo as part of a bi-monthly deep clean routine, but I wouldn't say that it is a necessary step for me. I wet my hair daily, and I very rarely heat style or straighten it, so I feel like I didn't benefit from this item as much as others may have.

I would say the thin texture, liquidy is easy to over use. I used 3/4 of the bottle in one use. Sectioning the hair will probably assist. I love how my curls looked after and will use this again. Only con is pattern smells weird.

This product is a game changer as I find it prepares your hair for your wash day. . brilliant idea

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yes. It is a great product and it did what it is intended to do but for my mid back length curly hair I used 1/3 of the bottle. I might use this on my hair when it gets to a hay state but not for every wash day.

I have dense hair that sits somewhere between 3C and 4A. The product consistency is watery to the point you have to cuff your hand or pour it directly in your hair to try not to get it to spill anywhere. Once used after a heated style, it wasn't an immediate bounce back, my hair took over 10min to get a slight curl back. Similar to what would be if I dipped my straightened hair in water and added a conditioner. With all other products being used, I don't think this is a necessary add to my bounce back hair care routine at all.
