Coffee not hot at all just warm
For the cost of of this machine I would expect the coffee to be hot not just warm

Please know our Vertuo brewing systems use Centrifusion technology, operating at the proper water temperature to deliver our quality promise in the cup and not burn the coffee grinds. While the coffee temperature on Vertuo Lattissimas cannot be changed manually, we suggest warming your cup under warm water and using the size that matches your preparation. Also, rinsing the device before extraction will help increase the internal piping temperature. DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE- it is just frustrating
I have had the Vertuo Lattissima for a year and it is a terrible machine. Please do yourself a favor and do not buy this machine. The coffee is not hot. The machine puts way too much air/ foam into the coffee. The machine stops working randomly and requires you to connect your app and it probably won’t connect. I can’t get the machine to work with milk anymore. This is a terrible product.

Great Machine
I have had this machine for over three years and it is still working perfectly. I feel for those who have had a problem but this machine is outstanding. Maybe I was the lucky one. Makes great coffee and is a breeze to use.

Bad. machine
This product is garbage. I have owned 5 Nespresso machines and this is the worst. The pod capture is a complete mess and very poorly designed. There is no way I empty the pods without creating a huge mess. The cover inconsistently closes, the machine is loud as a banshee and it sometimes makes a partial cup of coffee with a full water tank. Awful, replacing it with a simpler machine.

Great features but could do better
I really like the machine just wish I could control the foam as I prefer just foam not the milk my husband likes the lattes,.. would also love to have the coffee hotterb

Seizing Up Head Unit
This is the second machine that I have had to replace after the rotating head seized up. I’ve tried everything from descaling to rinsing. However, when the head rotating element seizes up, it is nearly impossible to rinse. My impression is that if the machine sits for more that a few days without use, it will bind up the rotating element in the head of the unit. I’m not sure if it’s a DeLonghi unique issue or not, but I moved to the Vertuo Next to change manufacturer hoping that will help.

We bought this to replace a bean to brew machine and can't believe we didn't get it sooner. Love the variety of coffees it makes and how easy it is to clean and maintain

Frother lasted only 3 months
our first Nespresso machine with milk frother lasted over 10 years. after only three months the frother stopped working. It says this machine is guaranteed for 2 years, but i can't seem to find out how to get the frother replaced under warranty.

Unfortunately, I would not recommend.
I would not recommend this machine. I’ve had a couple problems with it running correctly and the milk frother has an odd, very bad smell that doesn’t seem to go away after I clean it. It appears like others have had this same experience with the smell. It does brew the coffee great when it does work but I definitely believe there is a defect with the frother. Spending extra time cleaning this part has been a bummer.

I Want A Divorce
This is THE most temperamental machine I have ever had. It works when it wants to and completely ignores me more than half the time — exactly like my first husband. I bought it to heat up the milk, but it’s not worth it. I’m going to get the 130.$ Nespresso machine - they never gave me a problem.

A reliable and consistent coffee experience
A consistent and dependable coffee experience but without the finesse of a great deal of personalisation. I usually now let the machine extract the coffee from the capsule but manually control the milk to deliver the kind of flat white I prefer. The fully automated setting just does not have the right ratio for my taste and there is little to no adjustment possible with this machine.

Milk froth container lid doesn’t attach well
The machine makes coffee and milk froth great. However the milk container cover attachment is defective. The connector lets loose and separates under the weight of the milk in the container. If they fix this flaw it will be 5 stars

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Came to the store to buy a cup of coffee and left with a Virtuo Lattissima. I've become a loyalist since that day and because of what Nespresso stands for in addition to their multiple flavors, I no longer patronize Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts or K cups.
