Great features. Built well
This is the second black and decker toaster I have owned. The one I am replacing still works but it’s 21 years old and I felt the need to replace it. My daughter was moving from home so I gave it to her.

Perfect toaster
Old toaster finally died just before Christmas and during super high inflation. Found this Black & Decker for a reasonable price and so glad I decided on this one. Love being able to lift the handle to get English muffins without burning my fingers.

Top half of toaster quit working
After about 20 uses the top half of toaster quit working and bottom half got over heated almost causing a fire.

Short cord
Just bought this lovely toaster but the cord is so short it will not let me take it all the way out of the counter garage it is stored in!

If a long detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used, you will need to make sure that the marked electrical rating of the detachable power-supply cord or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance. Also, the longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over. Toaster toasts the way it should!
Our no name toaster that lasted only a few years stopped working. We wanted to get a tried and tested brand, so we went with Black and Decker. So far, after a few days, we are satisfied with the size and function of our toaster. The settings seem to be accurate for lightness/darkness. We hope to keep this toaster for more than a few years.

Great toaster!
I bought this a couple weeks ago when my old one died. I’m so happy I picked this one. I love that it heats evenly and is durable. Also so easy to clean. With 4 kids and a husband that leaves early in the morning we use our toaster a lot and this one is defiantly a keeper! I high recommend this toaster for anyone who is looking for a new durable toaster.

I have no problems fitting bagels in here, and that's usually an issue with other toasters. The browning knob works great and is pretty accurate compared to others and it's easy to clean out. The cancel button is also pretty convenient. Overall this is a great toaster and I would recommend it to everyone.
