Q: how well does this work to cover some gray hairs at the root? only need to color for root touchups. what developer do i need?

  • A: Licensed hair stylist here yes, because this is a permanent color it will cover grey. As far as developer goes, I’d recommend 20 volume, but make sure you get the Schwarzkopf Igora Royale developer because their formula is oil based and wont activate with other developers. Mixing ratio is 1:1

Beautiful copper hair

I’ve been a faux ginger for years now. The 8-77 is by far the best I’ve tried, I’ve tried almost every copper/auburn dye under the sun. This one is it! It’s true copper and doesn’t leave my hair feeling dry or damaged afterwards. The instructions were not in English, so I did have to look them up to ensure I’m using the product properly. I did a 1:1 ratio as the instructions stated.

This is my new go-to! I used the 1-0 black and I LOVEEEE it. The black is so black and so beautiful! It looks just as good as when I got it done at the salon. You do have to buy the developer separately but so worth it. I used 1:1 ratio of jet black and volume 20. I love my hair. (Stop going to the salon)
