Fire hazard
This air fryer is fine, generally, but we had an issue with the first one we bought and the replacement has the exact same problem. The heating element doesn't turn off at the end of the cooking cycle and seems to get hotter and hotter. This is a fire hazard and I wouldn't recommend buying unless you unplug immediately after you're done cooking.

So far so good
So far, this toaster oven has been great. It is Very solidly built and big inside. I like mechanical dials and having them on the top, makes them easily accessible. Unlike most mid-higher end ovens, this does not use pulse heating which when I tried one, made my kitchen lights flicker.

Less than average appliance
My appliance does not have a light. For its size, it doesn’t cook much at one time. It takes a lot longer to cook food than the directions say. I don’t think it gets as hot as it is supposed to.

We would like to help and provide some information. The oven operation light comes on for all cycles. However, there is not an interior light. On off switch needed
Make turning on and off easier. I get a timer sure it is never left on... Just put a switch on it, otherwise great oven. Easy to clean, pretty accurate temperature.

Buy stainless steel cooking pans. Can I buy?
I purchased this air fryer! Can I buy stainless pans for this device. The directions said no aluminum foil on the cooking pans. I would like to buy a quality stainless steel pans to use. Cooking chicken, turkey, Samon , vegetables etc. Laverne E Currie. I should still be in your system. Purpose lasted month and coffee machine too.

Cheap Knobs Ruin a 5 Star Product
Overall, this product has been a very reliable tool in our kitchen. The one negative, and I see that I am not the only customer complaining about the issue, is the timer knob breaks and is not replaceable. A very inexpensive plastic knob should not be included on this product. The other issue is the printing on the face of the oven begins to fade. I can no longer see temperatures or times as the graphics have worn off. For a one dollar knob improvement I would rate this oven as five stars, but because GE’s failure to provide a resource for replacement knob, I can only give it three stars. Get it together GE.

Just perfect for me!
I love this machine! This little oven does everything my big oven does — plus it air fries — without heating up the kitchen. I can preheat this oven, cook dinner, and clean the oven in the time it would take me to preheat the big oven. Temperature and timer are both accurate. The stainless steel body and full-coverage crumb/drip tray make it very easy to clean. The capacity is perfect for one or two people. It's getting difficult to find any kind of appliance with mechanical controls these days, so I was very happy to find all manual controls from a company I had actually heard of (my GE laundry appliances have them, too). Mindful of the problems that some people have reported with the timer knob, I'm careful never to turn the knob backwards. If my food is cooked and the timer is still running, I simply turn the TEMP control to OFF. Cooking stops and the timer continues to run until it's finished. I have had no problems with any of the controls, all of which are clearly marked and easy to understand. I've been debating the purchase of a toaster oven for several years and I am very happy with my choice. This is a great kitchen appliance.

Nice Price Built for Tight Spaces
Purchased this and a microwave to replace a 2 in 1 Microwave/Convection Oven combo that bit the dust. This is a very nice oven. Bakes evenly and the difference between the old unit and this is night and day. Heats up very well and has decent space for preparing a variety of dishes. If you want to bake cakes, pastries, or enough lasagna to feed a regiment this piece is not for you. If you have limited space or don't require larger size this fits the bill perfectly. Easy function on temperature and manner of cooking.

Great features
