Great choice!

This is a great slow cooker. I’ve made four meals so far that all turned out great with food cooked to perfection. It’s beautiful and easy to use. I shopped around and chose this model because I have an older model of this same pot that is 10 years old. It’s still going, but I wanted an update. Bonus added to get on sale!!

Poor quality and hot plastic exterior

I saw reviews mentioning that the exterior is plastic but I assumed the heating elements would be insulated from the exterior. They are not. The outside gets really hot even on the low setting. I also think the low setting is too high. You can see a low boil which I didn’t notice with my last crock pot. In general everything just feels really cheap and I have zero faith in any of these newer disposable models.

Too much plastic

I didn’t realize the entire exterior is plastic. The removable crock is nice and heavy. My main concern though was durability of the latch - it is plastic with a metal loop. I’m returning it to get one with a metal exterior.
