Needs a light and lidlock
Had this for a couple months now and it’s been good. However I have 2 complaints. 1. There is no indicator light to tell you it’s on. So twice now I’m an hour or 2 lost on cook time because I forgot to plug it in. A simple light would be so helpful. 2. The lid rattles when it’s hot and steamy inside. Could probably use a lid lock to improve.

Easy to clean, easy to use. Set it. Forget it. I absolutely love my crockpot for summer cooking. I just wish the power cord was a little longer. The glass lid has taken some use and hasn’t broken.

Works great heats up quickly i line with heavy duty foil just one long piece use a cooking bag from Reynolds and easy cleanup. Had to replace my old one, I bought the simple setting one because I’m home when I use it, and I use it so often I have it down to how long and when to flip the meat.. long time fan of this brand, buy the large things cook much faster if they’re not scrunched up. I also have a 6 quart from target that they had on sale before the holidays great for chicken or beans, or to use as serving for large groups.

I purchased this in November 2025 and have used it less than 10 times. The handle on the lid broke (plastic snapped) a few weeks ago. I heated up a ham today. I heard a loud “crack” noise and found the crock had broken. I’ve had a Hamilton Beach slow cooker for 18 years and it is still fully functioning with no problems. I don’t think I will buy a CrockPot brand again.

8 qt Crock Pot cooks like a wonder
My favorite thing in my kitchen is my crock-pot. And I had to replace my 7 qt one with this 8 qt one and that 1 qt makes a lot of difference. I cooked a 10 lb spiral bone in ham and it did amazing.
