Q: the description says it makes coffee "including the perfect crema." does this mean it uses milk?

A: Thanks for your inquiry, Jimmy. The layer that forms on top of each brewed coffee is a combination of coffee and air called the crema and is naturally created during the extraction process. Crema is a sign of high-quality coffee and has been a signature feature of our espresso. It does not contain any dairy or additives and will gradually subside as you enjoy your coffee. As each blend brews according to its own unique parameters, there is no way to adjust the amount of crema that forms. Enjoy discovering our many Vertuo blends with your VertuoPlus Deluxe machine.

Q: Is this product usually loud when brewing coffee?

A: Thanks for your inquiry, Jamie. It is normal for all Nespresso machines to make some noise during operation. Please keep in mind the following factors that may be contributing to the noise: • New machines with brand new pumps will produce less noise over time. • If operating without water in the tank, the pump will be louder. • A capsule in the capsule chamber will dampen the noise of the pump. • The machine should be stable, with four rubber feet on the bottom. If any rubber feet are missing, it may cause an abnormal vibration. • The ideal surface for the machine should be solid and flat such as hard wood or a granite countertop. Solid machine!
This is so great for a simple morning routine! I love the variety of pod options you can use with this machine. It’s been a game-changer learning you can turn coffee pods into double espressos on this machine! I’ve had mine for 4-5 years and it’s still going strong. My only issues are that it’s pretty loud when brewing and mine sometimes leaks if I refill the water tank after I’ve turned the machine on.

I received this machine as a Christmas gift. I loved it for about one month. Then it only worked intermittently. And now 10 months later it’s collecting dust on my counter. DO NOT BUY THIS!! It’s a defective machine and I have no recourse to fix the issue or get a refund. Please learn from my experience. I am so very disappointed.

Perfect cup of coffee!
As a mom of six, I don’t have the luxury of leisurely mornings or honestly, much quiet time at all. The Nespresso Vertuo Next has been an absolute lifesaver in my daily routine for the past few years. I need coffee, and I need it fast. This machine heats up quickly and makes a cup in under a minute no grinding, no measuring, no guesswork. Just pop in a pod and go Minimal Clean Up :With a house full of kids, I already have enough messes to deal with. This machine is super easy to clean, and the used pod container is a small but genius feature that saves me time. Whether I need a strong shot of espresso to keep up with my toddlers or a full mug to power through a morning of school drop offs and laundry, the Nespresso Vertuo delivers every time. The crema on top makes it feel like a little luxury in the chaos. I appreciate that Nespresso offers a recycling program for the pods. It's one less thing to feel guilty about when I’m running on caffeine and prayer. It’s not whisper quiet, but it’s definitely quieter than other machines I’ve owned. I can make a cup before the house explodes without waking the baby. If I had to find a downside, it’s that the pods can add up in cost but for the convenience, quality, and time saved, it’s 100% worth it for me. After years of daily use, it’s still going strong, and I honestly can’t imagine life without it.

Worst Vertuo Machine we have owned.
We recently purchased one of these, our 4th Vertuo machine, and it is the worst Nespresso machine we have ever owned. It is loud. It vibrates so much that the cup moves from under the spout causing coffee to spill. 1/2 the time the coffee is a fraction of what it should be. The spent pod holder fills with coffee to over flowing. Multiple times the machine did nothing after loading the pod and pressing the button multiple times, forcing us to reopen and try the pod again. We are returning the machine for a refund. The Plus Deluxe is a far better machine and worth the extra money.

Buying a Nespresso machine turned out to be a smart investment for me. One capsule at home costs much less than a cup of coffee from a café, and I still get the same rich flavor and crema. In just a few months, the machine basically paid for itself. Now I can enjoy quality coffee every day without overspending. Highly recommend it if you want to cut down on coffee shop expenses!

Automatic lid jams
Don’t waste your money with this machine. Constantly gets stuck/jammed open. What starts out as a quick cup of coffee an hour later still trying to get the automatic lid to shut.

This is amazing! I switched from a keurig to this and I absolutely love it. The coffee is so much better in my opinion and the design is a lot better. It brews very quickly and the water doesn’t take a super long time to heat up. I descale it pretty often to keep the coffee fresh. But I absolutely recommend!!!!

Too much crema
I just bought this machine thinking it would be as good as the old ones. The coffee comes out with way too much crema and not enough pure coffee. The flavor gets muted from this and bitter. I would not recommend it for coffee use.

This beauty replaced by old coffee machine. I love drinking quality coffee every morning. I have revived my coffee addiction. This machine stops me from ordering coffee while out. It tastes just that good. It doesn't take up much counter space. The machine noise is minimum. Perfect purchase for me!
