Awful and loud scares my kids
Absolutely awful!! This thing randomly makes creepy loud noises like something is wrong with it. I haven’t even had it a month and it doesn’t function right. Save your money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Vicks filter free plus cool mist ultrasonic humidifier worked amazing. It was easy to apply the little Vicks pad. It was easy to set up. You had water you plug it in and put in the Vicks pad . it was very lightweight to put on my dresser. It didn’t leak no water at night. It was perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This humidifier works really well. It’s touchscreen and kind of sensitive. If I accidentally bump the on/off button, it turns on or off. The water makes a bubbling noise when turned on. This could’ve good or bad depending on if you like noise machines. If you don’t the sound could be annoying. This has been great in Colorado where it is so dry. I use it in my bedroom to avoid getting shocked and shocking my dogs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Vicks Humidfier works well. It works perfectly in a 10x10 bedroom. It helped with my sinuses. Clearly them right up. It os compact and puts alot out. Helped during my cold I had. Never used one before and now I understand what the hype is about. Cleaning it is very easy. Which I would recommend cleaning after each use. Especially with it being a humidifier. Don't want any mold. I paired this with one of the Vicks Sinus pads. Worked extremely well.

Functions well but hard to clean
Functions easily enough but cleaning it is very difficult. There is a space in the base next to the water intake that I can barely fit a toothbrush to clean it. And humidifiers require regular cleaning. Next time build a base that’s easy to get a scrub brush into all the nooks and crannies.

don't buy
Don't buy, haven't even used a full winter and it makes a loud buzzing noise and won't run. The spring appears stuck even though we've tried everything to get it to work. I've cleaned the unit every other day as directed and used filtered water and continues to not work. Other humidifiers I have work great. Will not buy this one again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really liking this humidifier so far. It creates mist immediately when turned on. It makes a light humming sound that I found extremely soothing. It’s a touch screen that lets you change levels easily. I used distilled water since I have hard water. I used it while watching tv and then took it to my bedroom for sleeping. Nice bonus was my plants loved the extra humidity while I used it.

Very nice machine

This humidifier improved my quality of sleep & pre
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 1.2 gal humidifier works great for relieving dry air symptoms. It's a very quiet operating humidifier for sure. And I like that it provides a long "run/operating" time too. Super easy to maintain which I absolutely love. Works great in my master bedroom. This Vicks humidifier provides up to 30 hrs of continuous cool mist depending on my setting selection. It's so quiet which is ideal, the ultrasonic technology keeps noise extremely low so it's perfect for an adult bedroom, children's bedroom and/or nursery setting. And there are NO filters to replace which is a huge plus/advantage. Very little maintenance is needed with this humidifier. This model is compatible with the Vicks VapoPads products, they're easily inserted into a compartment on the front of the Vicks Cool Mist humidifier to help aid/relieve sinus irritation/cough symptoms/& congestion. It also has some major key "user-friendly" features such as: auto-shut-off, touch controls, auto-dimming lights, and a large water tank that allows super easy filling. This Vicks Cool Mist humidifier works great for me, and has improved my sleep quality by preventing dryness in my nose, and throat. And I love that it's quiet, low-noise, which is perfect for me as I'm a fairly light sleeper.

Look elsewhere: 2 of 3 have had issues.
We've bought three of these in the past three years to use in different bedrooms. As far as I can tell, the first one we bought is still going strong but I may have gotten it mixed up with the newer ones. The nebulizer on the second one just recently stopped working after two years (it was always noisy from the beginning so I should have known there was a problem). The third one only lasted about three months before having a noisy fan. The fan is silent when taken out of its seat in the humidifier base, but occasionally makes noise when installed. I assume it's an issue with the fan housing being stressed and bent out of place by the humidifier base. I have to fix it by taking the base apart and adjusting the fan, then praying. Two out of three is ridiculous, especially at $50 apiece. I'm moving on to other humidifier brands now.

I originally liked this and the looks but it stopped working after 3 months. I can’t adjust how much is coming out now. So after about 12 hours not even a quarter of the tank is gone and I see no difference using it or not.
