A: Yes, you can cook bacon in the Ninja Foodi air fryer! It’s actually a great method for getting crispy, evenly cooked bacon with less mess than stovetop frying. Just lay the bacon strips in a single layer in the basket, set the temperature to around 375–400°F, and cook for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through for even crispiness.

A: The Ninja Foodi DZ090's baskets are constructed from aluminum and feature a PTFE nonstick coating. The crisper plate is coated with a ceramic nonstick material that is free of PTFE. Additionally, the exterior of the unit is free from BPA. Given the sensitive respiratory systems of pet birds, we recommend that they not be housed in the kitchen due to potential hazards from smoke, burnt food, and cleaning agents.

not worth the money
You have to make sure there's a lot of space around it because the unit heats up and pushes out all of that hot air. Lighter items such as turkey, bacon, etc. get sucked into the top of the air fryer so be careful with that. It's nice to have 2 sides, but the baskets are quite small. You can fit one chicken breast per basket I gave it a three because I got it on clearance for $50 but I definitely would have returned it if I would have paid $180 or whatever the sticker price is.

I bought this July 1,25 and so far I absolutely love it.It took me a day to figure it out, but now I use it alot more. I also. love how it keeps the home cool. I've got to adjust the heat on some food but that's no problem at all just adjust time. I also like the 2 recipe books I ordered because they give me new tasty ideas.

I always hated cooking, no matter what I did, it just seemed tedious and awful. Completely joyless. And this went on for 30+ years UNTIL I discovered this fabulous air fryer. Now I use it almost daily and it makes food preparation way easier and more enjoyable. I throw in brussel sprouts, chicken nuggets, tempura, sweet potatos, pizza rolls, you name it, I put it in there. I'm not a fancy cook and I can barely make anything edible on the stovetop -- but using this airfryer means almost everything I put in there comes out crispy and tasty. I haven't used the other functions, only the airfrying option, but it has been a month and I am loving it so far. Never thought I'd feel this way about an appliance!

Did not work
Item didn't work properly. I turned in for a refund and was sent a label from a Target, only to find later that they declined my return. Had I known that that was going to be the case I would never have sent it back and I could have donated it or given it to someone! I have found lately that Target customer service has not been very helpful, they always tell me they're going to get back to me with an email but after several follow-ups I still don't hear anything? I think it's time to stop shopping at target.
