Ruined Wash Machine

I always buy this brand but this time there was something wrong with the concentrate and it has ruined our washer and we can’t get the bubbles out. Infuriating.

It must upsetting that the product caused such thing to your machine sudding up too much. We appreciate you providing us with this feedback, but this is definitely not the type of experience we want you to go through. None of our detergents cause excess suds when used as directed. If suds remain on clothes, scoop them out and run a cold rinse cycle. For suds overflowing from the machine, add 1 cup of vinegar and rinse (but don’t use vinegar routinely as it may damage the machine). Excess suds often result from using too much detergent or too many pods, overloading the washer, or using regular detergent in an HE washer. Build-up of detergent and minerals can occur in washers, especially with frequent cold-water use; Tide Washing Machine Cleaner can help remove this every six months. For further cleaning help, contact your washing machine manufacturer. Please feel free to contact us at (877-267-0514) so we can learn more about this situation and take care of you. overpowering

I was hopeful for this detergent based on some of the reveiws, but I have to agree with the other ones that say the scent is way overpowering. I've been looking for an organic/natural lavdender detergent to replace an organic brand I've been using for years that was recently discontinued, but sadly this is not it. My husband and I both did separate loads of laundry with this detergent, and we could not believe how powerful the perfume scent is. Also, two of the shirts got really bad stains or bleeding when using this detergent; we're not sure if it's from the detergent or not, but it's never happened before. My nose has been stuffy, throat itchy, and our whole house smells like it, so I don't think it's as natural as its advertised to be. Sadly, we're not going to be able to use anymore of the bottle :(

Terrible, toxic chemical scent

I’ve been using the eucalyptus version of this detergent happily for years. They were sold out so I bought this scent. It’s horrible. I put on a tank top that was washed with this and it gave me an allergic reaction; trouble breathing, dizzy feeling. The scent is so strong and definitely not natural or plant based as it claims.

For strong-scent-loving people

I like that this brand scores well on EWG standards. However, the scent is SO strong that I have a hard time convinced that it’s really non-toxic.. upon further research they say they don’t use synthetic fragrances but it’s so strong that I have a hard time believing that. Can they lie? Im now having to question that. Because I mean it’s VERY strong. Sure, if you like your laundry to smell super strong, this is your product. However I myself have babies and so this is a little concerning to me. Anyway I hate to harp on the negative because other than the strong smell it seems to be a good company, and it cleans well. I do love when a company prioritizes non-toxicity especially in cleaning products. And though the smell is super strong, it’s not a bad smell by any means. I bought other scents that I haven’t used yet so I’m still hopeful and eager to try them out.
