Q: Can these be hung on a wall that is painted with a matte/eggshell painted and not damage the wall when removed?

However, if it is fresh paint we would ask that you follow the recommendation by the mfg of paint. As some paints can take 7-30 days to cure. When using Command Hooks to hang curtains rods it is important to note that when more than one hook is used to hold an item, make sure that the weight is evenly distributed between the hooks. The hooks need to be level when holding rods. When more than one hook is used to hold an item, the total weight capacity remains the same as one hook. Using with rod diameter less than 5/8", length less than 48", and finial greater than 3/4". In use, slide curtain across. Do not pull down. Being near Chicago, our weather changes frequently, so this hook is now installed on the inside of the garage service door. I have a heavier jacket hanging on it. If the weather should be colder than I expected, it's right there without having to go back in the house. 3M always has some useful and creative products. Also in the summer when I don't need a coat, it's handy to hold reusable shopping bags.

I had two prints that have been sitting in the corner for a while. After measuring , I applied the hooks, with little effort, to the wall and allowed time for them to set. The prints are up and look great. It took very little of my time and I am pleased with the outcome.

They work great in our entryway and are super easy to hang up and are able to hold even the heaviest of backpacks. We don't have a lot of space coming into our house so these add some extra hanging space without a lot of bulk that a traditional hook would.

We pack them very full, and the hooks have been up in our hallway for years! They can be a little tricky to get off cleanly sometimes, especially if they’ve been in place for years. But if you use a hairdryer, it helps warm up the adhesive for easier removal.

I then placed the hook on the wall in my laundry room. On my first attempt I hung the hook too low, so I was able to remove it easily and use the second adhesive strip to hang it higher. It holds up to 5 pounds so it works nicely for my lost socks. I would recommend this hook.

I attached a Command Large Designer Hook to the filing cabinet under my desk to discretely keep my tote/purse out of view. I also use a Command Medium Designer Hook to hang my lunch tote. I love that I need to only select the appropriate size to the weight of the item to hang and then I can be finished in a minute! It is important to note using the Command Hooks will not cause management to object since they install and remove without noisy tools or unsightly damage. Now anyone viewing my desk sees no pile of bags or clutter with the Command Hook super powers at work! 3M provided me a free sample of this product to evaluate.

My favorite use is to put them inside closet doors to hold things like back packs and purses. Each hook can hold up to 5 pounds and helps to get bags off the floor but still in easy reach. I tried it on a wooden door and a painted (enamel) door, and it did not leave a mark when I removed it. I would recommend this product.
