I tried this leave in for the first time today. When I opened it I did not get hit by an overpowering smell. It smelled super nice and sweet and that surprised me. Coming out of the bottle the product was not overly thick and it provided great slip for my 4c hair that I didn't have to use as much as I would normally use leave in wise. I'm very impressed!

Honesty didn’t work for my hair. I have curly 3b or 3c hair and I tried using this both when my hair was wet and when it was dry to style refresh my curls mid-week. I had hoped it would work like the Pattern leave in conditioner, which is absolutely perfect for my hair. This, however, just didn’t work well. It left my hair feeling gross after using it, and it didn’t even refresh my curls. It just sat on top of my hair and made it feel sticky. I’m just going to go back to using the Pattern leave in conditioner.
