Not Freezer Quality
I am so disappointed in the reduced quality of these bags. They used to be my go-to freezer bags--both quart and gallon size. They are now so thin as to require multiple bags...and I doubt even that makes them air tight. Plus there is no longer a zipper closure, but the much trickier, more time consuming groove-style closure. No longer worth the purchase. I'm going to have to replace them with the real thing from somewhere else.

2025 redesign = trash
I’ve been buying and using the Target brand storage and freezer zipper bags for YEARS, but they were redesigned in 2025 and I won’t be buying them again. The materials are lighter and thinner. The zipper does not open easily and the bag often tears apart from the zipper making it instant trash. I’ve got household and travel items stored in bags from 15 years ago that are holding up fine to moderate use. Half the new bags get thrown away before their first use. Will not be wasting any more money on these.

Poor re-design; slider opens when supposed to be closed
The design was recently updated and doesn’t work nearly as well as before. The slider becomes undone frequently so I am going to stop purchasing this brand slider bags. Bummer because they used to be my preferred brand.

Bring back the bellbottom bags, please!
I used to prefer the Target brand but this time I noticed with the new package design came some unwanted changes. They seem to have switched to a lower mil bag thickness (causing items to easily puncture the sides), lowered the zipper quality so they often go off track, and most importantly they've stopped pleating the bottom. This loss of pleating changes everything for my purposes as the things I store in them will no longer fit - meaning the zipper won't close because my goodies are too thick for flat bags. Hopefully they either return to pleating the bottom or they enlarge the bags to accommodate things like several cookies, pizza slices, and Ghirardelli's Dutch process cocoa powder packages. The storage bags suffer the same changes in specs.
