Was extremely happy with the old formula and used every day. However, the new formula is completely different. The new formula burns when applied, and rolls up on skin, leaving little balls of product like eraser shavings. I have still been using it and it hasn’t caused any deliberate chemical burns, but is still painful when applied.

This is the worst sunscreen I’ve ever had the misfortune of using. It BURNS!!! The area around my lips felt like I put the most aggressive lip plumper imaginable on and the rest of my face was on fire. What in the world is in this thing? Of course I’m past the return window and completely wasted money on this monstrosity. I bought this because of the great reviews, but am now seeing from newer reviews that something about the formula has been changed. Big mistake. Huge. I don’t think I’m ever buying anything from Hawaiian Tropic again. Stay away from this

First, I want to point out that I have the new formula and my family used this brand for the first time with the new formula. It glided on so smooth and we had no issues with burning or stinging. I’m so confused by all the bad reviews claiming that, because we all didn’t have that issue. Second, most sunscreens dont absorb well on my husband’s face. This sunscreen didn’t leave that residue and we all found ourselves using this one more than the others we had.

The new formula on the other hand burns my skin especially the eye area and also pills. Please change back to the old formula as it was gentle enough for sensitive skin and actually hydrating as the name suggests!!! Why fix something that wasn’t broken?
